And this article was back in 2001, when Lauren was only 23, (Charlotte's age),--- but Lauren's still talking about her mother being her best friend, so she's still seemingly controlled by her, and still living with her - Lauren's not broken away at all.

Lauren is a product of their making . I did feel sorry for her when she was small .just a shame when she left she didn't stay away.she might be a different person now

Got a private email from a Many Gunn .[Not Mary as I first thought.. Many ] it was directed at me as 'you inferior being' and was weird saying I had no right to say they are unstable as louie carol and Charlotte are unstable [I did not mention the word unstable in my post] so what was his/her point? Just wanted to post this as others might receive similar emails I responded by questioning his /her point as I did not get it and asked that he/she does not contact me again

Hi all, just posting here because I didn't need to start a new thread on this but tbh couldn't be bothered to check through everything to see where else this has been commented on but I was just looking at Lauren Wiki page and was genuinely shocked to see she is 34 years old. Is that really right. I really don't mean to be rude or sound horrible but I honestly thought she was much much older. I didn't know anything about her prior to BB so didnt have the background knowledge of her being young in the 90's or whatever. The funny thing is now I know her age I can't pin point what exactly made me think she was more like 50 something.

I know same here. I am always aware not to be critical about a hm's appearance (though beleive me it has been tempting) but in Laurens case, I was STUNNED silly to read that she is only 34. Even looking at youtube videos of her 3-4 years ago, she has aged at an alarming rate. I can't pin point it either.

I suspect it's a combination of her spinal problems (and resultant stoop), her skin conditions (whatever they might be) and her chosen hair styles. I agree with those who say she ought to see a proper doctor - I read recently in an article that her mother plied her with pain relief drugs after her operation.
