James wellbeloved recently donated 82 boxes of their cat food to the charity I got my two rescue cats from, so they might be worth trying if you're going to do that.

Pets at home have also helped our dog rescue out before with food, if you write to companies a lot of them will as they have dented cans and other stuff or do discount deals.

As they say "it aint over till the fat lady sings" and I have a feeling the fat ladies performance was only provisionally booked and that it has been delayed , hopefully for good and Maisey can keep on doing her sterling work, we all have a blip sometimes and we generally come out the other side a bit stronger and a bit wiser and ready to face battle again.

Sadly Purina have declined to help in anyway they used the age old excuse "we're supporting a lot of charities blah blah" hopefully you'll get some goodies of Mars soon though. I'm still waiting to hear from 2 more companies who i approached.

It's possible that their constitution (for want of a better word) only allows them to donate to registered charities. Their auditors might have a hand in that, so you can't really blame them.

I hope you have better luck with the others.
