Well, as the rumors about the crass, stomach churning and revolting fling between Peter and Tina seem to be true, I thought I'd make this thread. Who can you guys see becoming a couple in the not too distant future?
Roy and Mary: It seems like it could happen, and a lot of people think it will. But what troubles me is that Roy is an autistic person. In general, it's harder for autistic people to form relationships, and it often needs that "special someone" to come along, just as Hayley did for Roy. I just can't see Roy having another relationship, him and Hayley were the perfect match. However, he did have a certain chemistry with Mary, so I don't know...if it happens, it should not be for a long time yet.
Nick and Kylie: It's been mentioned once or twice, and yeah, I could see it happen if the baby creature turns out to be Nick's. I hope this one doesn't happen, and I don't really think it will. Blackburn stated that he loves David and Kylie, and therefore I think they're marriage will survive. Whilst Kylie and Nick were great together in the Bistro scenes, I don't think it'd be good for them to get together. There's such a huge height difference between them as well. It would be absolutely farcical. Even worse than Eileen and the pint sized, tracksuit wearing, not racist, greasy haired fire fighter.
Marcus and Toddleigh: Yeah, I can see this happening. It probably will. I'm indifferent to be honest, as it's a pretty dull story.
Dev and Mary: They haven't shared one of those nice little scenes for a while now. Although the thought of it makes me feel physically queasy, why not? It's about time Mary stopped stalking Nozza, and Dev needs to do something other than sit in the corner shop all the time.
Tim and Maria: If Todd and Marcus get together, I could see this happening. Both of a similar age, and Tim obviously won't last long with Sally.
EDIT: How about Liz and Lloyd as well? I can still remember the episode when Steve found out about that, SO funny.
