Who needs a man to direct them to the loos if there is a queue for the ladies? Just walk in - no chaperone required. (Of course, you do need a fairly strong stomach to put up with the stench).
So did you notice that quite a few men don't wash their hands after urinating? Oh and that happens at tango milongas (social dances) and I can only imagine at other contact dance locations.

Always carry hand disinfectant when you go dancing.

It was the pub over the road

You are a gent!

I beat a retreat. Though there was some fine Victorian tiling in there.
Oh that looks like the loos on the champs élysées.

There was a terrifying lady in there demanded Quarente et un cents for admission. I felt it must have been a very particular kind of cruel community service to have to sit in a loo and deny admission to all the bemused tourists because they did not have that un cent. I can't find a picture but obviously they were designed by the same person.

Oh I remember they were unisex, the men had to pay vinght et un to stand up but if they were shy or needed to do a poo it was join the female queue and pay the full Quarente et un.

She was terrifying and marshalled her lines with all the presision of a general.

I was part of a coach load of ladies arriving at Alexandra Palace after a three hour at the same time as other similar coaches. Long queue for the ladies so our coach load marched into the nearest Gents, ignored those using the urinals and took over the cubicles. A few men were brave enough to come in and do what they had to - after all they had their backs to us and when you're desperate for a pee a man's tackle is the last thing women interested in.

So were the seats up or down?

Up is probably better as the shy urinate in stalls and may do so with the seat down.

The smell wasn't too bad because we arrived shortly after the event opened and a squirt of perfume worked wonders. We're not silly - we all take wet wipes on a coach journey, so we wiped the seats and top of the bowl before using them.

Not being able to start half a dozen new threads a day and resurrect a half dozen more has apparently cramped his style.

Makes sense. That's probably why all women carry wet wipes. Always seemed obsessive to me as I imagined it was to clean hands and faces.

I noticed that were a handful of Terry threads on the first page but as they were easy to spot by the scattered CAPITALS I skipped them. So I never noticed whether they were new or resurrected.

i could be wrong, but i suspect the reason Terry is so much quieter is because there was a whole thread posting about him/her which, they haven't posted much since.

My personal view is that this master stroke by the mods has devastated Terry's ability to annoy people with his multiple posts, which he would frequently bump to get them back on Page 1 of the forum.

Which in turn has resulted in a loss of the ego boost arising from dominating the forum as has happened for a few years now.

Whatever..... the mods have certainly improved things on here by their action!!!

Yet, here you are, continuing to post in this thread to show off how smug you are about it - fifth highest contributor to this thread. Very interesting.
A lot of you haven't stopped whining for days/weeks/months/years, so why are you still choosing to come inside one of his threads? No excuses this time - not exactly hard to avoid now.

You got your wish, why not go and be "happy posters" and have "fun" elsewhere instead of coming here purely to rub it in his face?

Give me his "pointless" threads over the petty comments on this thread about him any day. Here's a helpful tip, though - if you lot want to lure him into the thread to give you a reaction, stop making it so obvious and he might just bite.

He's still posting and is free to come onto this thread. I and others never posted in any of his own threads as we thought of him as a provocation. I hope you cheer up soon.

It's not one of his threads - it's a moderator merged thread. And you don't know the reasons behind that decision or the conditions attached to it.

My suspicion is that it's because his posts which weren't comments but deliberate wind ups have been curtailed. He joins in the discussions on other forums such as football, sport, Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity, but treated the Strictly one has his own private joke with innuendo, double entendre, deliberate mis-spelling and misunderstandings on his part, starting over 30 threads and adding to others so sensible discussion couldn't take place.

I'm not a moderator and the decision and reasons are between them and him.

Never mind, there's only just over a week to go and it will all go away.

Well said. Oddly enough Terry can post sensibly & normally, yet chose not to for 99% of the time on this particular board. This is why the action taken by the Mods is the fairest solution in the circumstances.

one thing terry never did is bark at other people about how to post on the board

this is turning into just another 'members only' thread, like we don't have enough of those already.

They're all 'members only' threads. You have to be a forum member in order to post.
