Re-watching it, he appears to say "F*** it" under his breath at the very end of his comments, but it's barely audible and you really wouldn't hear it unless you were listening for it, which I suppose is why the people in charge of the bleeper didn't react.
By apologising , they simply drew attention to it. But I guess they have to apologise because there's always going to be a minority of viewers writing in to complain about it. I thought Zoe's apology was quite sweet - she even whispered the words "bad language"

If he did swear, as Terry says, it is before watershed so he should apologise, but I thought he said fudge and not the other word.

I've been to a Test match, and had the radio commentary on
- and it lags behind the actual stuff going on on the field by about five seconds. Not enough to be terribly noticeable unless there's a wicket, say, when you can tell. |

The BBC beeper man may not have been on the ball but it looks like the sound man was alert enough to muffle the naughty words in the time delay, my feeling as it is before the watershed is that an apology from Len would be the right thing to do, his continuous other crudities are also very near the knuckle and he should be invited to realize that now is the time to stop making those sort of risqué comments with children watching.

If that commentary is on DAB, then there is a delay, albeit one introduced by way of the digital technology (maybe a few seconds at the encoding end, a few seconds within the decoder in the radio - the length of delay is specific to the equipment used). Digital TV is the same.
And to be honest, why would there be any need to introduce a delay on a radio commentary anyway?

It was all a pre-planned publicity stunt by The BBC. Or will be next time it happens.

After everything that Claudia has been through with her daughters tragic Halloween burns accident some days ago, why is it that people on the internet have to target her at such a distressing time? why can't they just leave her alone to care for her child and make her better.

If you want to get involved in the discussion about this tragic accident which happened several weeks ago, you might find it more useful to post on this thread
http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2022580 so you can read what others said about it. Bumping a year old thread doesn't really give any useful context. Hope this helps. |

What is your opinion on the people that are targeting Claudia and her daughter on the internet, do you think that they should leave her alone? http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/29967403 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-accident.html |

I am not normally over sensitive - usually ignore a comment I, personally, find a bit 'off' but I do think referring to the strictly girls as 'clothes horses' is a bit insulting!

Given the self-centredness and bad taste of the poster in bumping up his entirely irrelevant year old thread on Claudia to comment on her daughter, why should we be surprised?

I don't see why, the Strictly girls wear different designer gear every time they appear, most celebs get gear to wear from designers free to promote the individual designers, so 'clothes horses' in most cases is quite an appropriate description, if its age you are referring to perhaps ponies or fillies would be better. |

Zoe looks amazing tonight in black leggings and a black sequined top, but I do wish she would get her legs out for us more.

I love the "Lets Get Frocked" feature on It Takes Two with Vickie Gill.
Pixies crystal dress is going to be fabulous. |

FBS give it a rest
Personally I find it distasteful for such things to be said on TV while kids are watching, it is not a good example to set for their future well being. |
