Emma's voice is awfully screechy on BOTS; I find it very tiring to listen to

Davina was getting OTT with exaggerated faces and over-amped "enthusiasm" well before the end.

Emma's nowhere near there yet, imo.

I think Emma's a pretty good presenter and interviewer -- perhaps the best who's been associated with BB in the UK -- even though there are some things I don't like about her as a presenter: that she expresses too many opinions and sometimes at inappropriate points (though any presenter with her role would probably end up doing the same), and her voice when it get screechy on BOTS

Tonight's highlights reminded me of another thing I don't like about Emma as a BB presenter: the way she acts like almost any twist, no matter how tried or questionable, is wonderful and exciting.

It's very shrill and shouty.
I know she has to be heard above a rowdy audience but the microphone is for that purpose!

Not saying it's bad to be Northern, just weird that it's only for certain words. ”

You're not alone. I've noticed this as well. Maybe she's from Leeds?

I agree, I wonder why it's so hard to find a decent presenter!

Watching Emma fumble - and Brian before her- reminds us of how good Davina was.

I agree - I usually have to turn the sound down when she's on. I think she's stunning to look at though.

AJ is equally irritating what with the accent and the speech impediment. She sounds as though she has a mouthful of marbles

Because a lot of people think it's wrong to criticise someone for something that's not under their control such as (many feel) their looks. So I thought some people might think that about voices too.

Wherever she's from, she needs to make her mind up about it and commit to one accent!

I also think sometimes she talks too fast.

I, along with the majority of respondents to your poll, do not have a problem with Emma's voice. I like her enthusiasm. I like her accent - she is from the midlands originally for those southerners who are unable to distinguish one accent from north of Warford from another.

I also like AJ's accent. An Essex accent OTOH....
