It's been so quiet? No real news on music or dance order. Some predictions for tonight -
1. Keyshawn & Sharna - Samba -unless he completely let's loose and moves his hips...this could be really stiff. I don't have high hopes for him

I just hope he looks like he's having fun even if he doesn't have great technique.
2. Peta & Brant - Rumba - I think he could pull off a really nice Rumba. The real question will be how sexy will they go? Too sexy and Len will say it's raunchy. This is all on Peta and what she does with the choreo. If they don't do the expected i.e. "showmance routine" and I think that would impress more.
3. Elizabeth & Val - Samba - she can dance...no question. Great lines. But Samba is all about really shaking the hips and getting down. I hope she let's loose and goes for it. Been wondering how she'll do in the latin dances...we shall see. Excited to see what Val does with the choreo.
4. Corbin & Karina - Jive - I think he will be fine. On paper he might be the high scorer of the night. Karina is one of the better choreographers for jive and quickstep IMO. Coming off of contemporary like Elizabeth & Christina, we will finally see how things are holding up in the ballroom dances for them.
5. Bill Nye & Tynne - Paso Doble - This might suit him better than the sassy cha cha. But I don't expect his technique to be amazing. More than anything I think this will be entertaining vs. being great.
6. Christina & Mark - Paso Doble- Their contemporary was dark and serious. I think the same mood is needed for paso so I think she will pull of the character of it fine. On paper this should be good so I'm excited to see what direction Mark goes with the choreo.
7. Bill Engvall & Emma - Jive - I'm expecting a somewhat slow jive, just because of his age. He's a charming performer so I think he'll do better than he did the 1st week.
8. Jack & Cheryl - Rumba- I think his technique will be good. Cheryl will make sure of that. It's questionable if he can really get into the sexy/sensual side of selling the dance. I have a feeling Brant will get more into character....just because he's an actor and is used to it.
9. Leah & Tony -Samba - Probably depends on how nervous she is. If she takes some notes from JLO this could be decent. However I don't usually love Tony's choreo for Samba. She'll need to bring it on the performance side and Tony needs to bring it on the choreo side. Otherwise this could be just okay.
10. Amber & Derek - Jive - She surprised me week 1 so who really knows what she'll do this week. I'm guessing this will be a good jive. Like Kirstie Alley in her season I am mostly concerned about her stamina to keep up in the jive. Derek might reduce the jive content so she is able to put on a show. Like cha cha which is fun and sassy I think she'll perform well in the jive. On paper I think Corbin will have the more dynamic jive so I don't think she'll maintain that top spot.
11. Snooki & Sasha - Don't know what dance they are doing...so I won't even bother to guess.
12. Valerie & Tristan - I don't think the producers would be cruel enough to give her the jive. My guess is the Rumba since it is a slower dance. With her dance background I think she would have a beautiful Rumba. Probably less sensual and more inspirational though.
Top scorers might be Corbin, Elizabeth or Christina. I think these 3 have the potential to have great technique/execution.
Getting excited for tonight!
