Yes he said that in the training footage, horrible for him, he wasn't having the best week was he. Smart guy, gave them the bag with his latin shoes and t-shirt in.
There more I re-watch Snooki and Sasha QS, the more I think that they were underscored

Bill Engvall is capturing so many hearts with his spirit and attitude. Emma is bringing out his potential and this is such a fun partnership to watch.
They have the lowest views on one YT channel, though, so a bit concerned for them. Corbin and Karina seem like the team to beat. They are taking nothing for granted and working like their lives depended on it.
I don't know why Snooki and Sasha couldn't get at least one 10 for their Jive next week. Their latest dance currently has 35,670 views on one YT channel (TVV), almost twice as many as the next closest of those remaining.
Elizabeth and Val seem mismatched to me. I think she would look better with a taller partner, Tony, Jonathan or how tall is Gleb? And Val can't seem to hide his disdain for her. He cracked, "Passion and Porno" in last week's OTRC interview. Arrrgh. Seems like she'll be hard to lift in next week's Argentine Tango but hoping for the best.
Valerie and Tristan weren't in the bottom three, at least those they showed us, so fans might want her to stay around another week or more. They are both special people.
Mark is always creative and unique and he is doing a good job with Christina. Three reasons I will always be a Mark fan:
1. Anna Trebunskaya told a reporter on Mark and Derek's joint birthday party about 3 years ago Mark was her favorite guy, and if she wasn't married, "I'd be married to Mark." Before then, I hadn't fully appreciated how nice he is to everyone.
2. Shirley Ballas said Mark never resented Derek moving in with them and getting more attention than him. "Mark's not like that."
3. In every interview I've seen with Mark, he comes across as level-headed, genuinely nice, and, as Derek teased him, a real romantic with flowers, rose petals, etc. Mark once said he's so shy he won't approach a woman unless she made it blatantly obvious she wanted him to.
I loved Bill's Paso, Nicole/Snooki's QS and Brant's QS, they were the stand out routines for me tonight. I thought Corbin's QS was way too fast and so it lost a bit of the style of the dance but he did incredibly well to keep up.
Of the rest, I liked both Charleston's, it was interesting to see the different approaches in style from both the male pros but I agree there wasn't as much of the traditional swivel that I'd expect to see. Of the two I think Amber's just shaded for me simply because of the use of the musical tones in the dance and how they incorporated different styles. I did think Christina's was a brilliant stylistic routine and she really sold the performance.
Valerie bless her heart kept on going throughout her routine in spite of the mistakes and I think Tristan is such an amazing pro for how he works with her so it was lovely to see Len acknowledge it too.

He is my favourite pro on the show, Mark I mean lol. I already knew about n1 but not about 2 and 3. Thanks for the little anecdotes about him. I've always wondered how it feels for him to see Derek his " brother " gets the attention most of the times and not him. I love their friendship

Did you read Steve Wozniak's apology? I absolutely believe DWTS is run 100% ethically and morally, just as Steve Wozniak was persuaded after he was shown the equipment they used and the opportunity to ask questions.

Leah - For her Rumba she did well and I love Adele. Was beautiful but lacked fluidity I think I just get the feeling Leah does not believe in herself. She is turning into one of my faves though so hope Tony makes her do well next week.
Corbin - Yeah he's great but like most contestants this series he just does not register. Sad TBH. The quickstep was also more like Turbostep. Karina really messed it up.
Elizabeth - The tension between them is uncomfortable to watch. Val does not like her. She is gone next, cannot remember what dance she even had =/

I thought they were still there but hidden away by the staging, come to think of it can't remember them being acknowledged this season by Tom. Although not sure as some of the songs sounded like the original tracks and some not?

BIB I wouldn't mind her leaving soon and being part of one of our " shocking " eliminations this season (nothing against her because she seems like a nice woman and good dancer but she (they both ) bore me to death :yawn::yawn::yawn: ) but luckily for her she has the Argentine Tango so I don't see this dance getting anything less than a 27. In fact I predict that they will top the leaderboard next week; I will go even further by saying that they will probably have a perfect score
.Its interesting that all the hosts at AfterbuzzTV (Anna, Jake,Krystin Suri, and Sharna who was the special guest ) all predicted her or Brant/Peta to be in the bottom 2 next week or to go home. I really doubt it but we will see.

BIB I forgot to say that Sharna said that Karina asked the producers to change the tempo of their QS song all week but they didnt do it so she had no other choice but to dance that QS to that song;
I am cutting her some slack about that performance because of that, lol . Obviously I know this because I watched Afterbuzz tv and Sharna explained why the music and choreography was so fast but not many people know that.
We all know from watching SCD and DWTS that even though the pros submit the songs that they want to use during the serie in advance, their requests is not always granted for particular routines or even when they do get the song, the band either mess it up
(like they did with Christina & Mark this week ) or just slightly change the tempo of the song. So sometimes its not always the pro's fault.

The producers refusing to change the tempo bothers me. They are supposed to honor a pro's request to change a song if they can't get the song to work. Poor Karina didn't deserve that; I would've asked for another song altogether.
But they did it and survived so guess it's okay in the end.
I think they do try to tailor some of the songs to the celeb's background and interests. Kim Kardashian said she had a big say in her song selection. Amber said she and her grandfather used to listen to Jackie Wilson records, and she was happy they got a Jackie Wilson number for their Jive.

I do too, as long as it's not outright mean. Last season I heard that Shirley Ballas made some great observations on that show, forget which week it was, but anyway gave a listen and I loved hearing Shirley's insights. She defended Val's competitiveness and had some interesting things to say about him and the others.

The live band is still there and played on every song that I looked at just for you.
You can see the entire band, then Harold Wheeler being introduced, at 1:33-1:37 of Leah and Tony's Rumba.
It's probably hard to see on videos but if you watch it on a big TV you can see glimpses of individual players, the drummer, the horns, as well as Harold directing them in various other shots throughout the show.

Just watched episode 1 tonight online & it was my first time watching dancing with the stars but I have watched SCD every year! My first thoughts are that I prefer Strictly! On Strictly it does seem to feel that they are more of a 'family' if you know what I mean. Why do they have 3 judges & not four? Bruno seems to take on a different role as the kinda bad guy in the US version, or that might've just been my impression. Also Len doesn't seem so critical!? I'm thinking that maybe they can't get away with saying so much on US TV? Who is the female judge? From what I saw in this show the costumes looked very underpar compared to the work put into them for the UK show.
I also didn't like how there was no pairing up show! Half the fun is guessing who is going to pair up with who! Also the professionals don't seem so likeable lol. Maybe that is because I'm so used to the UK original.
They hardly mentioned the personalities of the couples & there doesn't seem to be that comedic element that there is on Strictly & I don't mean Brucie! lol. The theme tune is nowhere near as good & no titles with couples! I did like it but felt it lacked 'something' somehow. Jack Osbourne was on Ellen & danced too. The theme tune is nowhere near as good & no titles with couples! I did like it but felt it lacked 'something' somehow. Jack Osbourne was on Ellen & danced too. That clip might be on her YouTube channel. Amazing that he lost sight in one eye but regained it!
Looking forward to seeing him. I wonder if Len & Bruno prefer the UK or US version!

I love Tristan, Derek, Karina, Anna,
Tom Bergeron is superb & i'd love him to come over here.
DWTS pros seem to get more out of their celebs or the celebs are more willing to push themselves.
Give DWTS time. I watch them both & love them both in different ways.
