If I was an American citizen I would refuse to vote. Its pointless.

I bet Valerie got 10x the amount of votes compared to Elizabeth / Brant / Christina yet she goes home. Do they expect viewers to give her around 50% of the overall vote to ensure she survives to next week

Am I right in assuming they even limit how many times you can vote??

Flu making me angry LOL

Still bitter she won with that NFL guy over Katherine and Mark.

Omg we are just agreeing tonight ; Yes its true I am still slightly bitter but I eventually I got over it; Jacoby was a really lovely guy so that eases up my " bitterness " lol.

She is my Aliona of DWTS ; Good dancer, great choreographer (although that can be debatable lol ) but I just don't like her for some reasons....shrug.....

BIB No they dont .People have MORE time to vote for their favorites than ever before; which gives more power to " power-voters ". People who stay for hours to vote for their favorite couple .The Gleeks fans (Amber ), Derek fans and High School Musical fans (Corbin ) would be in that category. And Pretty Little Liars fans (Brant ) to some extent.

I don't vote so that is the least of my worry. I couldn't care less about the result this season .

Not an enormous fan of Peta or Karina; Cheryl also irritates me a bit. That's kind of putting me off their partners. I hope my favourite pro, Kym, will be back next series.

Valerie is truly inspirational but her dances are a bit messy. I'd like to see her stay around a bit longer but I don't think she should reach the final, unfortunately. Jack is also inspirational, though he's not getting the same sort of coverage that Valerie is; after all, doing something very physical, like DWTS, with MS can't be easy.

My favourites at the moment - and that can easily change - are Christina and Snooki. The latter surprises me because I wasn't expecting to like her but she's making me throw all my preconceptions about her out the window.

On first viewing I thought she was just jabbing at him playfully. On second viewing I could see he was upset about it. Felt like she had stored that one up for him, don't know what made her say it. Think if she had said, you need to keep up with Mark, he doesn't tend to dance down for his partner, that would have been more accurate.

If Julianne had said that remark to Peta, I would have agreed with her Peta overdances, to try and disguise Brant, but it feels like the dance is all about her, rather than a partnership between her and Brant. Know the celeb is getting desparate when the shirt gets whipped off.

Like you edy, I wasn't really engaged by this episode. The only one I had any interest in, was Bill, not because he is the best dancer but because he genuinely seems to be enjoying himself, partnered with Emma.

Jack - QS - Cheryl such a bitch! High energy but gappy. Migraine inducing lighting.
Elizabeth - AT - (Val: Are you excited? Elizabeth: Imobile face. Ecstasy: The botox way). Deeply connected? Deeply uncomfortable . There were some nice (to my eyes) moves in this, but I also though it veered into a kind of jazz pastiche of AT .
Brant - Salsa - too many lifts, too much flesh, too much Peta, not enough dancing from the sleb. Ho hum.
Valerie - VW - Aw, I really like Valerie, but that was a pretty dire VW from her. (Ghastly dress too).
Leah - CCC - I really like Leah's personality and she's made tons of progress, but I found this a bit dull and the awful costume was distracting. Tony (if it's his fault) shouldn't be allowed into wardrobe.
Corbin - Paso - Karina was fantastic - I loved the dance. Great music and choreo. I thought his paso posture came and went, but it was good in parts. He made the leap look easy.
Snooki - Jive - Dodgy Sasha Cardi spotted in training! Fun routine. Bruno getting on my nerves this week.
Christina - FT - First ballroom - it's week FOUR fgs!!! Finding her a little more likeable now. I don't think she totally pulled this off and the little hip-hoppy section was naff. Sharna must be gutted Mark got to use this song!
Amber - Tango - Derek with facial hair and a beany hat in training is a bit yucky! She danced that really well, good frame, close connection. Horrible dress.
Bill E - Samba - He's right, it wasn't all very pretty, but he gave it some and he's nifty for a non-dancer. They have a good time and are fun to watch.

Julianne was a great judge! The dig at Mark was a bit pointed though!

Week 4 clips Running order is backwards. Jack danced first.

Julianne's comments start at about 3.50. In relation to the choreo, 'I've danced with Mark and you really have to stand in front if you want to be seen - I want to see you shine!' (wtte)

Oh, I do agree, but I'm not sure it was kind to say it quite so publicly . On the the other hand, it will have struck home harder, so ......may be a case of 'cruel to be kind'. Anyway, I winced a bit .

I agree with Mark.
Her comment last night just look like holding grudges to me, harsh , very harsh
Poor Mark . Yes even I will admit that sometimes Mark tends to " hog all the attention " if that's an expression lol but the music choice perfectly suited that foxtrot routine and the choreography so her comment imo last night was completely unwarranted

It wasn't so much what Julianne said that was the problem as the way she said it. She could have said, "it's easy to be overshadowed by a pro partner so you need to be more to the front" or something like that, so it wouldn't be taken as a personal dig.

Exactly, well said; I couldnt agree more.

The way she said it just made it seem to me and to a lot of people as a personal dig to him; Not cool and very unprofessional

I'm really liking Bill E. He's like Hairy Dave but a better dancer, even though he's not the best dancer in the competition.

Have to say I agree pretty much with all of your comments. I thought Elizabeth's AT was overmarked, it didn't seem to have much content, lots of stuff out of hold, very little footwork interplay and she's too tall for him so it always makes me uncomfortable watching them dance as she seems to be doing everything on bent knees.

Jack's just so sweet, I love watching him dance even though he isn't the best and I think he's much better at ballroom. He did a decent Quickstep with some quite complicated steps.

I thought Peta and Brant's dance was okay, they should have ditched the lifts and him removing his shirt and just stuck to doing a decent salsa with more actual steps.

Valerie is wonderfully courageous to take part in DWTS, but for me, I think it was the right decision she went. I admire her beyond words but when it comes to it, she forgets her routines (understandable) and the sympathy vote shouldn't come into it in the long run. Have to say Tristan has impressed me beyond words with how he's worked with Valerine.

Thought Leah's marks were fair, didn't really like the style but she performed well and same with Christina, I think her Foxtrot steps were lovely but it just jarred totally with whatever the hell the other steps were!

Corben's Paso was wonderful but not enough in hold for me (which would be my criticism of a lot of the dances on DWTS, they'd never get away with it on Strictly!) He definitely brought the flair of Flamenco to it and he didn't look like a hip hop dancer this week.

Snooki's totally changed my opinion of her and, although she's not the best dancer, I do find that I tend to enjoy her dances even when they're not brilliant. Loved her Jive but do agree it felt a bit Lindyhop as well.

Loved Amber's Tango, I wasn't sure how she'd cope with a ballroom dance which requires such a tight frame and connection, specially after the knee injury, but they had very little gapping (other than the obvious which is there because she's a larger lady). It's something people often pick up on with the bigger female dancers and something I think deserves praise for, she also had some sharp footwork.

Bill is brill. I love the joy he brings no matter what he's doing or how badly he's doing it and I think Emma's been brilliant at bringing out his character on the dance floor. I thought his hips weren't that bad but do agree there didn't seem to be a whole lot of Samba.

I agree with you both. I think she was right and I don't think it was said with any sort of malicious intent. I think she was saying that he needs to present his sleb better and I agree with her.

Also have to say I thought Monday night's show was brilliant all round, couldn't possible say I was bored watching it or that it was boring as a whole. Then again, I rarely watch DWTS as a whole (ie in previous years) and tended to only catch individual dances when there was someone I was interested in taking part.

I agree. She has the potential to make it to the semi-finals or even the finale imo; I hope she can get to that stage but I don't understand why the judges criticize her routines so much; I always think that they undermark her especially when you compare her scores to other competitors, she is really undermarked by 1 or 2 points.
For a novice dancer; Someone who doesnt have any experience like Elisabeth (who is the biggest ringer this year imo even more so than Corbin ). Corbin, Amber to a certain extent..oh and Christina she is doing a fantastic job.

Elisabeth always has the same expression on her face ; why .I really think that the judges are protecting her with the scores; They barely have any critiques to give her when they judge her ; She is not pulling the votes like they want imo.

I really hate this new system because TPTB can easily manipulate the results at their convenience.

I have a feeling that Leah will probably go home next week ; Does anyone knows what dance she has next ?

I sure hope that Bill is here for a couple more of weeks; If he leaves (or Snooki ) I will really stop watching this season ; He is the " heart " of the show imo; He represents what the show is all about.
