I feel bad for Mark. There's some truth in what she said but he isn't the only one guilty of taking the spotlight. He's probably only second to Derek as a dancer and although he can sometimes try too hard with his choreography, it's often very good. The show would be a better spectacle with more like him and less of the dull deadwood like Tony.

I also think it was awful for Juliane to go public with ambiguous claims of childhood abuse. If it's true, she needs to go to the police. Not use it as a talking piece to promote a film. It was always going to raise questions about both her school and Marks family and imo was selfish and a slap in the face to the people who made her what she is.

Yes, totally agree, I think she is being undermarked because she doesn't have the technical expertise of some of the other contestants and I don't think it's fair. She performs what she's given really well usually and I think more of her personality is starting to show in the dances.

Dont even get me started on those " abuse claims" which was a very calculated move to promote her movie ; I could go on....

There is no denying that Mark sometimes put the attention too much on him in some of his routines BUT he is not the only culprit; Her own brother Derek does that; Even when she was a pro she also did that so why single Mark out ???

I love the celebs like Bill who are enjoyable to watch happy to be there even though not great dancing.

Snooki was also a pleasant surprise and I am rooting for Jack also. Really not invested who should/will win. Just watching with interest and see how it plays out.

I think that he is a Ballroom Boy . So excited to see this dance ; I really think that this is going to be their best dance yet ; Its a dance that I think will really suit him . Fingers crossed they dont go next week.

How exciting ; I think that this dance will really suit her personality. I think that she can really break the middle of the pack next week if the judges stop underscoring her and Sasha .

I listened to an interview with Bill this morning and he thinks this might be the week for him to go because they "will start looking at the actual dancing." But even so he tweeted that he thinks the waltz that Emma has choreo'd is beautiful and looking forward to it. He has moved his practice up to 5 hours a day from Monday through Friday. He is dedicating the dance to his wife and song is "She's always a woman to me" by Billy Joel. I hope he can stay a little longer because I am enjoying him more than the better dancers but sure hoping it will be a lovely last dance if that is the case even if not technically good.

I remember Bill from his sitcom where he played a loving but befuddled family man who adored his wife and their struggle with raising kids sort of loosely based on his own life. Jennifer Lawrence played his daughter and he had some touching father/daughter scenes with her. I wonder what happened to that kid? I remember one episode where tried to learn the salsa to impress his wife but he was taught by a another man. It was a funny scene.

Bill said if he knew how much women love a man who can dance he would have started taking lessons when he was 15.

Every year I say I don't know who will end up in the final 3 but this year I don't even know who will end up in the semifinals.

Can't say I disagree. While it sounded like it was something bottled up inside her for a long time and just came spilling out in relation to the character she played in a film, the very ambiguity opened itself to more sinister allegations than I think were probably merited.

On one hand it sounded like an overdramatization of whatever her gripes were and unfortunately led some to surmise there might even have been sexual abuse. Without knowing all the circumstances, it's hard even to have an opinion.

On the other hand, I've seen Shirley insist in the past, apparently referring to Julianne's unhappiness, that she did get to do everything the boys got to do, and that her implication the reverse was true was wrong.

And Julianne said, can't remember how recently, that she was told if you go back to the States you will be nothing, you will be [flipping burgers or whatever].

So there is some longstanding resentment there, I just can't quantify it. If it had been that bad, though, I doubt Derek would have remained so close to Shirley, and to a lesser extent Corky. He thanked all of the Ballas family in his brief Emmy acceptance speech. Not saying Julianne was wrong in her view, though, because I don't know.

I hope not . He is my favorite this year along with Snooki and if he is eliminated at this point, I will really lose interest in this show.They are 2 of the few celebs that I look forward to see every week.

I really don't care for Elisabeth, she can be one of the shocking eliminations as far as I am concerned. I would rather see Jack, Bill and Snooki go farther than her.

At this point I cant even guess the 3rd and 4th place. I still think that this competition is Corbin and Karina to lose and Amber will probably get 2nd place.

Len was taking 2 weeks off but while some thought they heard it announced during the show that Julianne would be back next week, I rewatched the tape and couldn't see where there was even a hint of that. Tom said Julianne was guest hosting THIS WEEK, Carrie Ann thanked her for doing such a good job "tonight" and at the end of the show Tom thanked her for guest hosting this week.

If there was any other mention of her returning, I missed it.

You mean YT viewing figures or the ratings? I noticed that also and it made me think that Bill might be correct in that he will be leaving this week. The public is losing interest in DWTS apparently.

Even with that it appears that the dance the week previous is what gets you through for the pubic vote. He would have to have high scores for his VW.

Everything seems so weird this season. I would prefer it be like SCD where they had a 30 minute results show. That is all they need No fluff and filler Just get to it.

I think Jack will do well with his waltz and Snooki will do fabulous with her dance. It sounds right up her alley.

I don't think that this new format is working . Ratings keep declining........uhmmmm....people are losing interest in the show. The dwts forums are not what they used to be. I remember when Twop used to get at least 25 pages( of 25 replies per page ) by episode and nowadays they barely get 4 pages by episodes. Even the abc boards which were up in arms about Zendaya, Kellie, aly, jacoby.....last season are oddly tame, quiet this season...

Ratings are hard to read, for me anyway, because they're always being adjusted up or down and one site has different numbers from the next, but it appears Monday's show is up a tenth of a point from last week, when Bill Nye was eliminated, and the audience share went from 5 back to 6, where it was week 2.

As you know, ratings historically decline from the opening show until the final week, but I don't see any bigger dropoff than usual. In fact, the Week 4 numbers look to me almost exactly like last season's at this point.

We'll see how the season progresses, but DWTS is still a strong #2, and a lot of shows wish they had those numbers.


I'll wait until someone smarter than me weighs in on the success of this season, and the new changes, but while I don't miss any shows, and in fact watch the East Coast feed online, which is an extra step, I've long grown tired of the negative nellies on TWoP, can't remember the last time I even looked there, and the ill-mannered on the ABC boards chased some of the best posters away even before last season.

For me it's not so much tiring of the show as tiring of arguing about it with anyone. And the celebrities are so low-key this season, with everyone getting along well with everyone else. I don't even have a strong opinion who I want to win. Maybe that's a good thing.

Cheryl couldn't have picked a better song; They may not get the higher marks monday but Im pretty sure that they will be one of the few couples who will steal the show with this routine.

Didn't liked Julianne's comments to Mark yes Mark has over danced before but I don't think it is a fair comment this year whereas for Peta who makes every dance (no matter who she is dancing with) about her it would have been fair and Julianne has over danced before depending on partner see Adam, chuck or early dances with cody. Agree that Christina needs to show a different side to her than the strong fierce women but so does Amber, she seemed to be harder on Mark and Christina than everyone else to show she is bias
