Oh and Gleb is great big bit of alright.

Why on earth they don't give him and Tristan contenders will never be figured out by me.

Yesssssss very happy with this elimination .

Let it be a lesson to the show or the judges, stop pushing some couples so much in our face especially when it's evident that they're not popular.

The public has spoken

Bill and Emma Should not feel guilty. At the end of the day, the public loves them and want them in the competition. I hope his rioters (that's the name of the movement that is behind him ) continue to vote even harder.

Thrilled for all the couples left. Like I said, I'm not sorry to see Val & Elizabeth go.

Good luck to everyone left . I would LOVE to see any of them win .

I guess I was disappointed in Bill tonight. But he has to be absolutely pulling in huge votes to stay on with his scores. HUGE. The public loves his attitude more than anything. I do think a lot of the problem tonight was Emma going into slapstick and not sticking to her original plan of making him do proper choreo.

Bill is taking an absolute beating on the message boards and twitter much like Dave. It is not like he is able to enjoy getting to the semi finals.

Elizabeth just did not have the votes.

For me any of them could win it but I would love to see Jack pull it off. He has really improved.

Corbin did an amazing trio dance but honestly that was a professional routine in my eyes. And he choreographed it! He is one great dancer though.

The afterbuzz host asked us to twitter questions for couples and I asked one for Bill and Emma and he favored my tweet so the question might get answered by them in the interview. I hope so.

Poor Bill
He will probably become one of my favorites contestants ever on this show once this season is over . I like him and Emma and I love their relationship ; it is the cutest . If someone told me before this season that I would be rooting for him, I wouldn't have believed it.

I never voted so far but I'm going to vote for him and Emma. Yes he didn't do well tonight but I enjoy watching him and Emma dance. I don't care, I want them in the finals .

And yes he must be pulling huge votes . I'm so happy for them and Emma is doing so well for her first year

It made me so sad because he gave an interview earlier where he said that when Emma gets married he will be in the church and when she has her baby he will be the first one to call her. They have one of the sweetest partnerships I have witnessed.

I never planned on rooting for the old guy either.

But his dancing tonight was pretty dismal but they were entertaining. I hope that Emma can get back on track and do classic choreo that he can handle for next week.

I think the fans want a no ringer final and that is why Leah, Bill and Jack are pulling votes.

Can't say I'm surprised at this week's elimination - her dance last week (the one the audience were voting on) was pretty poor and of course, she didn't have the popular vote. It's a bit strange to me that I don't begrudge Bill going through - he just comes across as a thoroughly nice chap. Corbin (preferably ) or Amber should win, though...

Well this explains why Bill struggled so much. He has a pulled hamstring.

The other interviews are here also.

Reading other message boards many are shocked and outraged but TBH I am not.

The judges need to be held accountable giving out 10's left right and center so its no surprise voters turn to the underdogs such as Leah / Jack / Bill E. That's why on SCD Craig's tough marking works because getting 40 is ACTUALLY a challenge on our version.

Brant / Elizabeth where never going to win so happy those two where the next boots. Amber Riley is annoying the hell out of me cause she is the pre destined winner. So obvious. The glee fans go gaga with her. I would be so shocked if she does not win.

Corbin / Jack / Leah I hope survive next week. Guess that leaves Bill E. He's been fun but time for him to go. If not Bill boot out Amber to make the finale actually interesting and give someone else a chance other than smugness himself Derek Hough winning a mirror ball trophy. lol Imagine if Derek signed up for SCD with Cheryl Cole next year in hopes to win our series. He would find it a challenge thats for sure

The Yesssssssssssssssss that I screamed at the TV when this happened ; Should I feel bad at it ? Not even a little, sorry but not sorry

I was fairly neutral about this couple in the beginning and was preparing to give them a chance like I always do with contestants who are not my favorites from the get go. But I HATE, HATE, HATE the constant overpraise and manipulation shenanigans that TPTB did with these 2. It was very off-putting and this was one of the reasons of their downfall; People were starting to notice it (other Dwts blogs/forums, fans of the show ) How they were basically the " judges pets ".
Dont even get me started on their trio salsa where she did a couple of noticeable mistakes but still got a perfect score; Or the chacha with the perfect score (even Anna who was in the studio during that week said on Afterbuzztv that as good as that performance was, she saw her wobbled a couple of times so she didnt think that the routine was perfect ). Overscoring them weeks after weeks because they were not getting enough votes .
Even people who were fairly neutral about them didnt understand why the judges were trying so hard to convince us that they have this amazing connection, that they are the best dancers...the public as we've seen is not easily fooled .
I am not even a Corbin fan per se but in comparisons, the judges were and still are so overly critical with him; underscored weeks after weeks; I still cant believe that his Paso did not getting at least one 10, SMH.

Leah is not my favorite but she easily had the best trio routine of the night : very entertaining and very creative.

Once again the fact that Bill could overcome such a huge point deficit (at least 14 points ) means that he must be getting a lot of votes, Kinda worried for Corbin though, I hope he makes it to the finale.

At this point, I don't care who wins but I am so glad that the public got it right tonight .

I would really like to see Derek struggling with the differences between Strictly and DWTS. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike him, but I'd like to see how he copes with a real challenge, given that he seems to get such a lot of good contestants. Has he ever been paired with a Fiona Fullerton or a Rachel Riley?

I actually think Derek would do it if he keeps winning DWTS. Give him an actual challenge. Craig would slaughter him for the bending of the rules each week

Regardless of the result tonight ( yeah bill!)

I think we can all agree that Witney, Sharna and Tyne should be dancing in those skirt, open shirt, Bra combo's every week.

Apopros of nothing but if this happens look at who Derek's next partner will be.

She was sitting right behind the judges. I thought i recognised her.

She's already done the UK version so I wouldn't expect her to do the US series.

I was wondering if Bill came into DWTS with a fan base or if he picked up them each week. People who working out the numbers feel that he is getting massive voting numbers.

Evidently his backstory is this. He was a regular standup comedian working the circuit in his 20s and 30s. He won a best male standup comedian of the year award in 1992 or so. Then in the late 1990s did a video with Travis Tritt a country singer called "Here's Your Sign" which was wildly popular with Travis singing and Bill pointing out who needed their "I'm stupid" sign which is a sign you give people when they state the obvious. I remember how popular the phrase was. That was when I was first knew who he was.and where he got the country redneck association and plus he he had a strong Texan accent. Bill was/is not really redneck and I don't think he is at all (he is the son of a physician and not trailer park). His comedy is sort of like a Bill Cosby, just observations about regular life for the average middle class male. He was not really famous but was associated with that video.

Anyway Jeff Foxworthy who IS the redneck comedian is the highest paid and most successful standup comedian in the US. He put together this comedy tour called the Blue Collar tour and invited Bill to take part because he liked his regular guy easy going style. The tour made a killing and was the highest grossing comic act. It went on for 6 years and Bill made 40 million with it and while still not a household name it moved him into the top paid comedians in the US on the circuit plus gave him exposure.

You don't get to that point without building a huge fanbase. I think the producers knew he was coming in with that fanbase and it would keep him on despite how he danced especially if he picked up a following each week. They would pit him against the ringers and the season would be a rollercoaster ride.

But apparently she had to pull out due to the death of her father and she has hinted at doing the next series (of DWTS) so I wouldn't rule it out.

I didn't see the Afterbuzz show with the unanimous prediction Liz would be the next sent home, so I'm not sure why they thought that. But will have a look.

Rewatching, Corbin's Jazz was THAT good.

(I kinda have had a Witney obsession since her SYTYCD season though so that might taint it, she better be a professional next season after this!)

To see Emma crying before the announcement when she was sure she was out was kinda touching.

given the votes from this week count for next week, I hope Bill's fans put him through, as he didn't really do the best this week. But I really hope he wins the thing now. Let's hope his ChaCha/Argentine Tango next week have better scores.

I wonder if, after Len's rant, Bill might pick up the sympathy vote to add to the huge votes he seems to be getting already. I know that doesn't tend to be the case on DWTS quite as much as on Strictly but it wouldn't surprise me in this instance, given how popular Bill is already.

Found giving Corbin Jazz a bit ridiculous. When the Celeb is teaching his pro surely that's a sign something is wrong...
Also, as well as he danced it, it was not a trio dance. The girls made no difference to the routine.
Also, why does everything Petea touches turn tacky, vulgar and cheap?

It's interesting that the original criteria was that anyone could have dance experience as long as it wasn't ballroom dance experience. Now that they've added other categories--how long until they require some couples to do hip hop?--it does seem, well, I don't like the use the word fair because it doesn't fit in this kind of show, but last season Val had to get outside help to learn hip hop, which Zendaya excelled in, and this season Corbin taught Karina jazz. Still not calling it unfair but it IS ironic.

What bothers me most about Peta isn't anything about her dancing but how awful she looks at rehearsals. With no makeup and hair a mess, she doesn't look that attractive, though she looks smashing at shows. You'd think she'd take a tiny bit of time to look better for the rehearsal cameras. OTOH, potential suitors don't have to wonder what she looks like when she wakes up, they've already seen it on their TVs.

I'm enjoying watching Bill, and am pleased that he's lasted this far in the competition.

The surprise of the series for me has been Jack, he's come across as a lovely guy - I wasnt expecting it, and I love watching his ballroom, Cheryl is choreographing some really good routines. I'd love to see him get to the final.

Amber and Corbin, I thought they would both be better than they are, unless it's just me?

Elisabeth & Val got better as the season went on, glad Bill is still in hope Bill & Jack make it to the final but seriously who is voting for Leah?

Amber did the a good job but obvious that she is injured.
Corbin trio dance wasnt a trio dance
Leah trio dance I really enjoyed granted I was watching Henry and Tony dance not Leah
Peta makes everything cheap tbh bad pick of pro and Bill charleston wasnt good
Enjoyed Jack viennesse waltz not so kind on his trio
Enjoyed both Val & Elisabeth danced really like Gleb Val & Gleb work well together
