We will know this week if their message was strong enough.
After all the voters were voting on last's week's dance not this one. It was Liz's jazz that she insisted on doing her way that got her the boot, not Bill forcing her out. I saw tons of twitters that said they don't vote but were appalled that Elizabeth went out instead of Bill. DWTS voting is rigged folks.
And the numerous twitters that he is a coward and should voluntarily leave the show like a man and should be ashamed of himself for getting through. They must have missed the Snooki elimination. Let's hope they send enough messages that overcome that voting snafu while they twitter instead of vote. Not only should Bill be able to take control how he dances he should also take control of his voters and the outcome.
I agree with Fabulist all Tony wanted to talk about was how he and Leah should be in the finals and that she and Jack should be there defending Leah's lack of dance experience. But when he had Melissa he defended the fact that she had dance training. It depends what celeb he has where he goes with that argument. I did sense he is also tired of Bill and will be resentful if he makes it through next week.
And Val in his Good Morning America exit interview said "there is nobody to vote for now" because I guess Liz was the only worthy winner this year.”
Wait a minute, tons of twitters said they didn't vote but were appalled Elizabeth got the boot instead of Bill and that means DWTS voting is rigged? It sounds just the opposite to me, that those who were motivated to vote did vote and those fans too lazy to vote but assumed their favorites would be safe were sadly mistaken.
To review Steve Wozniak's mea culpa when he accused DWTS of voting shenanigans,
his apology is here.
And if the judges knew voting numbers before the show (which I'd bet good money they don't) Len surely wouldn't have given an 8 to his declared favorite, would he? He looked as dejected as I've ever seen him after Elizabeth and Val were declared out.
I doubt the show could fudge the numbers even if they wanted to. They have dozens and dozens of producers and assorted assistants, each with their own favorites--I remember one season an injudicious staff member encouraged people to vote for her faves--who didn't win.
Anyway, if there were even a hint of impropriety, it would take just one whistleblower to get the show cancelled. I believe the army of producers are mostly indifferent to who wins but care very much for their livelihoods.
I'm puzzled why Val wouldn't encourage his followers to vote for Leah and Tony. Aren't they
familia? Haven't watched the latest Afterbuzz. But I can't see the judges giving Bill a 3 or 4. He wasn't Master P/Michael Bolton bad. The truth seems to be the judges' scores are bunched close enough together than the fan vote can bridge a minor gap.
I kinda can't see Bill winning, though I've learned the hard way not to hope or predict anything. Guess it will come down to the freestyles, as usual.
