Unfortunately, it's not shown on any British channels, so it's a case of watching YouTube clips, as posted by fridgesoup up thread or cough other means not so legal.

I do not get why the changed the judges box to the other side. It looks quite odd and out of place. Moreso because we are used to seeing Tom standing to the right of the judges. But there must be some aesthetic reason. Anybody know?
So why didn't they just do that, but keep the judges table on the traditional side? I think it's because they want to indulge Bruno. Now he has his own familiar live audience to play to, he's *really* playing up to them. Had they kept the judges table where it was, the couples would have been next Carrie Ann instead. He would have had less opportunity to do that, or worse, he'd have been playing to the couples across the other judges. |

![]() I agree with the Afterbuzz folks...I'm not sold on Tyne's choreo yet. He might have done better with a pro like Kym or Cheryl...who would whip him into shape. I don't think I saw a lot of cha cha content. The bits I did see wasn't done well. I can't even begin to imagine Bill Nye in character for paso!

Has this show lost the plot or what
![]() Why Latin night so early ? Its only week 2 Dances like the foxtrot (hardest ballroom dance imo ), the samba (hardest latin dance ) should not be performed so early in the competition;Smh I don't get it either. Folks have to warm up to dances like the Rumba and Samba & Paso. I prefer seeing those dances later in the season (something to look forward to). I don't understand why they use up the "fun" dances now? Like who wants to see a cha cha in week 9???? BORING! At this rate we'll be stuck with 7 waltz's in one night on week 8? Somebody get the producers a clue. Maybe they have a special performer that is only available on Monday? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Go Bill ![]() ![]() Team HotKnowledge (thats their team name ) ![]() ![]() It will be interesting to see how long he survives. Here is how long some former fan favorites survived: Survived 5 weeks as low scorer: Cloris Leachman, Michael Irvin Survived 4 weeks as low scorer: Bristol Pain Survived 3 weeks as low scorer: Billy Ray Cyrus, Clyde Drexler, Master P, Marie Osmond, Melissa Gilbert, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak Survived 2 weeks as low scorer: Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, The Situation, Jerry Springer I can't imagine he will last longer than Cloris or Michael Irvin did, but you never know.

BIB See this is the problem with Elisabeth; She seems like a nice lady and you can tell she has dance experience, she is a good dancer but she is just so boring; By the end of the night, I couldn't remember her routine; And this is the same thing that I'm reading elsewhere at other Dwts forums; Her and Val's partnership ......I just dont get it yet; I don't think that they mesh well yet ; They are not memorable and this is dangerous in a very strong cast like this 1 where they are very dynamic partnerships already and strong personalities. She gives me Chyna Phillips vibe (One of Tony's celeb dancer who was good but was " shockingly " eliminated by week 4 I believe) ; I wont be surprised if she gets eliminated by week 5 tbh.

Chyna Phillips wasn't eliminated because she was forgettable, nor was her elimination shocking. She was eliminated on the week she completely forgot her routine and didn't manage to bluff her way through, instead acting like a deer caught in the headlights. I felt sorry for her but her elimination that week was understandable.
I wouldn't be surprised if she is " shockingly " eliminated at one point during this season, |

Bill Nye now has more than 3 million YT views!
![]() ![]() ![]() Now history has shown us YT views DO NOT always correlate to votes. Sometimes it gives a clue--for instance, while many if not most of Zendaya's dances got more views than Kellie's, Kellie's freestyle far outclipsed Zendaya's in views, typically 4 or 5 times as many views, depending on YT channel. That supports the idea that Kellie won it on the freestyle. But all Shawn Johnson's videos have FAR more views than Melissa Rycroft's, 227,050 views for Shawn's Knightrider Banghra vs 7,016 views for Melissa's Caveman Hustle on one most-viewed channel. Freestyle, 60,416 vs. 12,394. Yet Shawn didn't win. Although it is true many people wanted to see someone win that hadn't won before, and you heard a ton of "Tony is due for a win" sentiment. Sentiment is what will keep Bill Nye in the running for a while. Here are the current views on one major YT channel of the Week 1 videos: Bill Nye - 3,036,334 Amber - 342,082 Nicole - 65,554 Jack - 63,822 Corbin - 58,850 Leah - 50,783 Valerie - 41,430 Elizabeth - 38,613 Christina - 36,154 Brant - 18,369 Bill E - 16,193 Keyshawn - 11,583 |

Even though he is at the bottom of the leaderboard I am convinced that he is not going home next week . It will probably be between Bill Engvall (shame as I like him and Emma but Im not sure that they have much of a fanbase ), Keyshawn or Leah but I think that Keyshawn will probably go home next week. This might be a first that a footballer is eliminated so early. BIB Oh I don't doubt that the Freestyle helped it win for Kellie but it was also mostly because the ABC voting online system was suddenly down Oh and another thing. Those views are interesting. I find it interesting that Elisabeth and Val were tied 2nd at the top of the leaderboard but yet they are below the middle of the leaderboard with the # of views. And at other dwts youtube channels they dont have that many views compared to those who scored lower than them which brings me to the fact again that they don't grab people attention yet like I keep saying. Good dancing but boring. I am rooting for Corbin, Christina, Amber as my top 3 at least I know that Corbin will make it to the finale ; Amber to the semi at least and Christina not too sure. And I like Brant, Snooki, the 2 Bills, and I have a soft spot for Jack. Oh and I absolutely love Valerie; I hope she can stay in the competition till midway at least. Whats going on ? I like almost everyone this season lol. |

As to this season, a lot of DWTS viewers don't care for contemporary, which Corbin, Elizabeth and Christina had. Their dances next week may get voters more excited about any one of these than is currently reflected in the YT views. Agree about Keyshawn likely the one going home. |

BIB - I agree with almost all your points except ABC voting being down affecting the win. Zendaya's strength has been especially Twitter--she won Prom Queen--but Twitter votes for the Freestyle Encore went to Kellie. Plus, don't forget, EVERY single online poll--even in the UK--predicted Kellie for the win based on her freestyle.

BIB Let's agree to disagree ![]() because I definitely don't agree with you so lets not go there.Oh yes unfortunately poor Keyshawn will probably go home next week. Shame as I like him and Sharna but he doesn't stand out and is not a good dancer . Plus they gave him the Samba , oh dear this is not going to be good.

We have tickets for Monday night so I'm glad we'll get a chance to see everybody before anyone is sent home. Haven't seen Sharna live yet so looking forward to that, and seeing how different the set looks from the last time we went. Too bad Sharna will be out so early. If not this week, then probably next week.
. Can you do a little recap of the show if you can ?When I heard that Sharna was partnered with a football player I thought that she would go very far this season because most football players always do well in the show; even those who are average dancers manage to get at least get past halfway but Keyshawn may be the exception this season. |

He was finally eliminated 9th. Which is a LONG time to last. Is there anything or anybody in particular you'd like me to look out for Monday night? |

[b]Is there anything or anybody in particular you'd like me to look out for Monday night? _____ I'm curious about what happens during the commerical breaks and how each couple prepares to dance as thier "package" is playing. Now that the couples are on the floor it would be cool to see how they interact up close. Have fun! |

Now that the couples are on the floor it would be cool to see how they interact up close. Have fun! They won't let you leave your seat if you're in an area where the camera could be on you. If you have to go to the bathroom you may have to wait until a commercial break. And even then the only facilities are outside portable toilets. The people who check your tickets and control the audience entering might be producers. It's an extremely well-run process. In Season 11, they had everyone stay after the end of the show so Anna and Derek could film spots for "A Day in the Life of" a dancer, if you remember that segment, following a dancer from the time the alarm rang until they went to bed at night. A couple of weeks ago they sent an invitation to a new ABC show, a kind of comedy "View," that everyone who went to the upcoming taping of that show would get PREFERRED tickets to a DWTS taping on a date of their choice! No waiting in line, no lousy seats. I really wanted to go to that but it was SO HOT outside that I didn't want to deal with it and let it pass. This invitation is back to the normal, cattle-call waits. It's first-come, first-served so unless you're in line long before the 3 pm time stated on the ticket, you may not get in. Worse, they told us to expect to climb a few sets of stairs and REMAIN STANDING almost the whole time! Except when we were told we could sit. That is new. In the past people had a choice when they would stand. So we're not taking the hubbies, just a few girls are going. But we'll get to see everyone and check out the new set-up.

That would be unusual to see Sharna go home so quick partnered with an NFL player, since the lowest any NFL player placed on DWTS was Lawrence Taylor, who was eliminated 7th. He didn't even want to be there! He said he'd rather be golfing.

Hope not, though, because I want to see more of Emma. |

That's great advice about watching the dancers on the red couch--or not on it--and how they interact. I'll be sure to do that.
