How the hell does Cameron think the glove he planted will not be suss , how long has Alex been dead , after the glove had been out there in all kinds of weather for a long time , surely even the thickest copper would see that it has not degraded , please ED do not treat us all as thick

But......but........he rubbed a bit of soil over it.

Surely the forensic scientists will be fooled by that?

Wrong , I have watched it since the Sugdens walked back into the kitchen after Jacob's funeral

Lol, indeed, there's no flies on canny Cameron - once he rubbed a bit of dirt on that pristine glove, I knew Adam was toast.

Hope he enjoys it in chokey where Mr. Big is in with the wardens.

The masterminds at EDPD will assume the glove is there because the "killer" returned to the scene of the crime. So they will have to believe that Adam is not only stupid enough to return to a crime scene which is under police investigation but also be careless enough to leave a whopping great clue behind.

The again, this is Adumb we're talking about, so perhaps it's not totally unbelievable. Cameron could hardly have chosen a better candidate to frame.

My mistake. Glaring and implausible plot holes are part of the charm of the show surely?

Good point OP but sadly the Police will grab this piece of evidence with both hands and run with it. Its a pity they weren't so thorough investigating the other murders in the village

He put the glove quite close to the burial site didn't he - surely the Police would have already searched in that area? and what about the footprints left by Cameron - any forensics expert worth their salt who surely notice them?

If I ever commit a murder, I'm gonna demand DCIs Dopey & Tits from Emmy investigate it.

I'm hoping we are all under-estimating Emmerdale. I think they may arrest Adumb, but forensics on the glove (which can't be done instantly, after all) will free him.

This could also be part of what reveals Cameron as the killer.

All pure speculation, of course.

I still don`t understand why Alex`s body was found. The last we saw, Cameron had pushed Alex`s body into a place where wet cement was being poured.
So if CSI ED could figure out that Alex`s body had been placed in two different locations because of soil samples, why couldn`t they figure out how Alex had shifted from the concrete tomb Cameron had placed him in?
I didn`t hear anything about any blue tarps either. Surely they could have figured out the tarp was from the DIY shop where Cameron bought it from as well as looking at the CCTV tapes from that shop?

Now come on. Don't you know that no one drops a glove in the woods unless they have murdered somebody and buried them nearby?

Think about that next time you're out for a walk and there's a single glove dangling from a twig or lying on a fence post.

Do you think they also pick up any rubbish that's lying around and take it away for analysis? That would save Sam having to go around with a litter picker.

We don't know for sure that concrete was poured on top, we saw the concrete being poured, bu we didn't know for sure that is where Alex was buried

There was a random glove in my garden all of last winter! I'd better ring the police now!

Hey if Adam gets busted for this and goes to court he's got a chance of being set free if the glove dosnt fit him!

His Lawyer will be demanding the jury to remember 'If it dosnt fit, you must acquit'

It worked for OJ after all!

The other thing I'll raise with this is when Cameron was "planting" the glove ... the camera focused out and what was in the scene from it ... a police car and not a single officer on site either - I know its only a soap but these "storylines" get dragged out far too much and its like as if they want your everyday viewer thick
