The concept of reality TV, and the fact that there is an ever changing schedule of it throughout the year, will keep the magazine interesting in itself. There are lots of new reality TV shows each year as well as the old favourites always coming back; this maintains an audience's interest in reality TV, and The Reality Insider would be reporting on these shows as they come, in turn keeping the interest in the magazine at a high. Obviously the example issues I have given contain mostly the same reality TV shows as they are all from around the same period, but these focus points would change regularly throughout the year based on the TV schedule. For example, in May the main focus points would be shows such as The Voice UK, The Apprentice, MasterChef and Britain's Got Talent. As well as this, the fact that The Reality Insider offers exclusive information and interviews that cannot be found elsewhere would keep it interesting and in demand. For most magazines you can find the information that is given in their contents elsewhere; however The Reality Insider would provide exclusives that cannot be found elsewhere - such as exclusive interviews with big stars such as Sharon Osbourne in the first issue. Extra additions like 'The USA Reality Insider' would also help to keep the magazine interesting, most magazines don't offer anything like this so it would really help it stand out from other magazines and increase interest in the magazine as a whole. The USA has quite a reputation for producing high standard and unmissable reality TV, and therefore there has been an increased amount of interest in USA reality TV from UK audiences, whether they catch up with them online or when they're shown on UK TV. There would therefore be a high amount of UK reality TV fans interested in USA reality TV, meaning the 'The USA Reality Insider' sub magazine would really be something that would increase the interest in our magazine and make it stand out from others. Even for those who don't have time to watch USA reality TV, 'The USA Reality Insider' would provide all the information and everything you need to know about the top shows, meaning you can keep up to date with them just through reading the sub magazine!
In terms of longevity, once again the concept of reality TV and its schedule will give the magazine longevity itself. Reality TV is something that has been going on for a number of years now and it has maintained popularity throughout. It is starting to peak in popularity now, and we definitely do not see it dying out any time soon - any time a reality show does not get recommissioned, it is simply replaced with another new and usually improved reality show. Reality TV has become one of the staples of modern day television and if all reality TV shows were to be suddenly dropped then we would see a great big hole in TV schedules - for these reasons, we feel that reality TV is in no danger of dying out and therefore the concept of 'The Reality Insider' definitely does have longevity. As well as that, the schedule of reality TV and the fact that there is always something on will ensure that there will always be lots to write about, and that the magazine will maintain longevity all year round. Here is a schedule for which reality shows are being broadcast in which month:
January: Dancing on Ice, Celebrity Big Brother,
February: Dancing on Ice, The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore
March: Dancing on Ice, MasterChef, The Voice UK, The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore
April: MasterChef, The Voice UK, Britain's Got Talent, The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore, Made in Chelsea
May: Big Brother, MasterChef, The Apprentice, The Voice UK, Britain's Got Talent, Made in Chelsea
June: Big Brother, The Apprentice, Britain's Got Talent, Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model, The Only Way Is Essex, Made in Chelsea
July: Big Brother, The Apprentice, Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model, Your Face Sounds Familiar, Geordie Shore
August: Big Brother/Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity MasterChef, The X Factor, The Great British Bake Off, Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model, Stepping Out, Your Face Sounds Familiar, Geordie Shore
September: Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity MasterChef, The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, The Great British Bake Off, Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model, Stepping Out, The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore
October: The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, The Great British Bake Off, The Only Way Is Essex, Geordie Shore, Made in Chelsea

December: MasterChef: The Professionals, The X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, Made in Chelsea
And that is just our initial plans! There are almost certainly more shows that we can factor in, as well as all of the new reality shows that have not been announced yet that are bound to come out during the year. On top of this there's also the 'The USA Reality Insider' sub magazine to think about. The USA has an even busier reality TV schedule than the UK so that is going to be completely full to the brim with content all year round! Of course there are some periods when the amount of reality TV shows being broadcast is at its peak, and times when it is maybe not at its peak. For example, the August/September is considerably a lot busier than the January/February period, however this will not be a problem - there are still enough to flesh out a magazine in each period of the year, and it does not only have to comment on the shows that are being broadcast at the very minute - there would be interviews from reality stars from previous series that finished a few months back, as well as the all-important rumours, speculation and build up to upcoming series. The USA/Worldwide reality aspect could take more of a centre stage at this point as well; the reality TV schedules vary considerably between each country so there would be lots of interesting things to report on there in some of the more off peak periods of UK reality TV. Overall we feel that 'The Reality Insider' will have a very high amount of longevity: partly due to the nature of the Reality TV and the schedule itself, and also due to the new and interesting things we would offer with each issue!
