How many times have they now done the 'secretly living in another house/basement' twist? It's become more of a tradition than a twist now.

This one has been the best so far because the housemates voted thinking they were evicting Carol, and some of their reasons will create drama when she returns

I honestly hope next year they do a back to basics season with absolutely no twists.

I don't watch for the twists, and they're getting quite boring now.

I prefer twists but the current one's are getting really old. Especially the secret house/basement twist

I wouldn't mind them doing the secret house if they did a bit more with it. Having the two houses compete against each other or something would be a cool twist. Just doing the BB5 bedsit all the time is just awful.

Way too many times it defeats the purpose now as every housemate is always suspecting the "secret" house.

Even worse it's the 3rd time this series alone they really want to get their moneys worth out of that room

And still, the only time it worked was the original with Michelle.

I do find it funny when someone unexpected genuinely goes but the HM's think they are hidden somewhere

There's nothing original about this series. Strange after coming off a really good and often surprising normal BB.

The celebs don't seem to be very bright. You'd think by now they wouldn't believe anything they say is secret or anything Big Brother says is true.

BB14 had a contrived nominations twist every single week!

Ridiculous, they didn't even bother to get her stuff packed up! None of the HMs fall for it anymore, and plus what is the point of having Carol in there with nobody to bitch with? Pointless, epic fail

The people in charge of this show must be amateurs, it's like they have just come out of college or something. We BB fans could do a far better job.

It was better than some because it was more multi-layered. It always leaves a very bad taste when people in the secret room come back and swagger round with all their private knowledge. Allowing each group to see the other created more drama and more complexity. Then allowing Carol to see Lauren and Mario throwing her under a bus to clear themselves was amusing.

but, in the main they worked, probably because they were varied enough for most of the Hms to be genuinely surprised. Other than Detective Dan obviously.
