Not usually one to whinge about the timings of the show, but having this eviction and twist on at 11pm on a school night seems really stupid. Kids only went back to school/college etc s few days ago, do Five think they should stay up late on a school night to watch something that was recorded an hour ago and isn't even live?

More stupid scheduling from Five, just to boost the ratings of yet another crappy foreign import.

True, but they do. Just seems like very bad scheduling on a week night.

Maybe OP means college students who are about 18? And maybe bad schedule for parents having to get up early for kids

I started watching BB when I was 8. and back then everyone in my year of school were watching it, yes, we were in primary school! Now, it's the same, young kids watch the show, sometimes in secret from their parents, sometimes their parents let them watch it.

Any show on TV after 9pm is clearly not made with kids at the forefront of its mind.

I remember having a 9pm bedtime from around 7 until I was around 11, but when BB was on, I ended up watching them with my family. It's strange thinking back that my parents and me were sitting in the room watching BB2-BB3. I seemed older back then, but thinking back I was young! Especially now that my cousin who is 9 the other day came up to me and started a BB conversation with me, I was baffled, but then remember I watched it at that age too.

I did no damage to me, me and my family all turned out OK. We weren't scarred for life for watching BB. I am still alive, it didn't affect me in a huge way

some parents may allow their kids to stay up and watch it- some kids may watch it in secret.

this however isnt the same as bb being AIMED AT and FOR kids.

it isnt.... therefore schedulers dont need to take the needs of kids into consideration.

Fair enough I'm not allowed it on on any tv but my own if my dad is home - he won't have crap tv on! I don't live at home but if I'm visiting. I don't think I had a 9pm bedtime till I was about 13/14 haha!

It's late on a work night, and I like to stay up late. I don't know what they're thinking.

Wouldn't have my kids (age 10 2 boys) watching Courtney with her arse hanging out and boobs whatever night it was.

Yes it's on late but what can they do ? Keep eviction nights for wknds only? That wouldn't work with the CBB at least we have the choice yes we can watch the main show live as tbe results are about to get leaked but we can always tape bots.

What's more stupid is they have the live feed on at 12-2 and you can't even tape it as its online.

Lucky for me as althrough I get up early I can go back to bed for a few hours as I work from home.

I agree - why do they have to have BB on and then another programme then go back to it at 11? Dont know about school night but 1230 am is too late for me on a work night. Very poor scheduling indeed. I had to record it.

They could have had an hour and a half show from 9pm - 10.30. Which is what they usually do.

Showing it at 11pm on a weeknight when most people will have to be up for school or work the next day is stupid.

They are using their most popular show to create publicity for their new big purchases like Under The Dome (which I love ) and Wentworth (which I won't watch, been there done that with Cell Block H). It's all about viewing figures.

Because they are watching what they shouldn't be doesn't mean that Channel 5 should be catering to them after the watershed.
