Imo Carol and maybe Louie are the only two that have earned their keep this series.....She is a great HM.

Totally agree with all of this. Her "humour" is very much based on cruelty and taunts, and just isn't, well... funny.
I think some people on here are unaware of the levels of alcoholism, and it doesn't always involve pouring vodka on your cornflakes...

As no-one on DS has ANY idea at all how much any of the HM's drink this is all speculation and simply fantasy to condemn someone they don't like.

Fair enough.
I would never say Carol was an alcoholic,as I just don't know and it's not up to me to judge her. What does irk me is people assuming she can't be because alcoholism is the reserve of street drinkers et al. Sadly, there are many levels of dependency on alcohol, and Carol may or may not be one of those people. Who can say.

I think Carol is hilarious, even if her cutting comments are sometimes a bit much. And despite how crude Charlotte is, I find her endearing. I'd be happy if either of them won.

Fair enough,....but I wonder who you would want to win (or would still like either one to) If Carol suddenly started being cutting toward Charlotte..? And going all out to humiliate her (the pre thought out mirror comment)

Her skin looks perfectly fine to me, I would even say it has a healthy shine to it, yes she has lines around her mouth area but she is 53 not 23 so it would be pretty unusual for her not to.
She does eat a very healthy diet, drinks lots of water & doesn't smoke, all of which I believe are far more important to a healthy complexion than a few vinos at the weekend.

Carol has the face of a 63 yr. old woman....also her nose is red...too much alcohol.....I can`t see a shine on her face, her skin is a bit like a rhino`s IMO

Exactly who can say! It really doesn't interest me either as she is a successful independent woman. Someone like Bruce would worry me as he has wrecked his life with alcoholism as one of the factors.

I agree, her face is that of a woman of her age. How many people drink at weekends? Are they all drowning their sorrows?NO they are enjoying themselves, BAD people!
It's like a temperance meeting on here at times. So many seem to know how much booze they get every night and that Carol downs the flaming lot. I've missed the show where that info was given out, obviously.

I am older than 63, just, and I would give my eye teeth to have skin like hers. My friends and I must look 90 going by that yardstick.

A 63 year old woman? Hardly!
I have never noticed her nose being red, I will, however look tonight.
Yes when you look at her forehead & cheeks they do have a healthy shine/glow.
Even if Carol did drink too much (which I don't believe she does) what exactly is the problem? She's healthy, (as other posters have pointed out she, has regular checks) she seems very happy, she has a successful career etc.

From watching BB since it began, I think they dish out a very limited amount of booze in there, I doubt very much they get the equivalent of a bottle of wine each night.
Fortunately or unfortunately (whatever way you want to look at it) for Carol it seems to go straight to her head, hardly the sign of a hardened drinker.
