BBC TV Guide in Chrome

The BBC TV Guide http://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/guide normally has arrows to the right and left of the main panel to scroll horizontally forwards or backwards through the schedule, These seem to be missing in Chrome. AFAIK they are there if using IE or Firefox browsers, but I'm now using a Chromebook so have no browser choice

Is anyone aware if this is a long-term or known issue? I used the BBC contact form but only got an auto reply
