I don't think so. I think Carol is treating the whole thing as a massive piss take. Sure she is acerbic, outspoken and doesn't bother with diplomacy but she is the same with them all. She makes cutting comments to and about everyone including herself.

I don't find her jealous, I just think she regards the whole thing as an extended joke to be poked fun at and not to be taken to heart.

Carol seems to be naturally very blunt with everyone. I don't think she's any more irritated by Courtney than she is by the other housemates. This was proven during the prisoner task where she was constantly heard speaking negatively towards anything/anyone she saw on the TV. Even Louie's dance on glass, she rather begrudgingly conceded was impressive.

So to answer the OP, no she isn't jealous of Courtney.

This seems quite likely. I think, with respect, Courtney and her fans are being a wee bit precious here.

Well I' hazrd a guess it's because the selfish little mare got to see her husband and then decided to ditch the boiler suit not giving a toss to the consequences of no food, treats and another HM being evicted.

And before anyone says ' she was only doing it to get evicted' - I' m afraid that doesn't was with me. If that had been the caze she would have waltzed out of the nouse getting what she wanted leaving the others with very little food and no treats.

I'm just surprised it's only Carol who's furious with her. I'm surprised Courtney is even in any doubt why people are bitching about her.

Well when she was sitting watching them all choosing to evict her over Mario in my opinion she took it on the chin and again with tongue in cheek (if you will forgive the mixed metaphor).

I accept her character is straight talking and she rarely sugar coats her words. But i really do see her as someone who is treating this as a 3 week job that you put up and get one with but shouldn't be allowed to get to you.

I'm no fan of Carol's but this is one of many posts which is sheer ageism. Carol is in very good shape, not a 'saggy old witch' and I am 100% sure that Courtney is not 'everything she wants to be'. Her 25 year media career has not been stratospheric but it has been steady, and based on professionalism not huge bazoomas. I should think she takes pride in that fact.

I totally disagree. They were nearly all stamping about in a fury when Courtney refused to put on the boiler suit even though she was told that other people would be punished or even evicted for it. I seem to remember that Mario and Lauren were particularly vocal on the subject. If Carol was the only one to say it to her face, that doesn't make HER the coward.

I agree Penny. Her excuse/dodgy story seemed like a load of old rubbish to me as well.

Didn't Mario and Carol both tell her the other night, if you really want to be evicted, you should cover up and be boring? Well with the boiler suit that is the "cover up" part fixed, and the "be boring" part comes naturally to her anyway.

Do you not think that she'd find that hilarious? We have seen that Carol can give it out but she really can take it too.

Did she sit and cfy that they chose MRio over her? Did she go all huffy and offended at their reasons? No.

She knows it's a game - a game where they have to do ztuff to get treats for the whole nouse. Courtney showed herself up to be a selfish little cow - Carol pulled her up on it.

But .........obviously she's just jealous of the air headed little caricature with hideous boobs and a plastic existence.

And even that wouldn't absolve her in my eyes. Its a job and a handsomely paid one. All you have to do is stay in a house, accept a few very short term deprivations and humiliations for 3 weeks. Nice work if you can get it.

I accept it is harder in there than it looks but guess what lots of people have to work hard and lots have periods where their work is stressful, tough and unpleasant.

I have no sympathy with any CBB house mate who uses tactics that get them kicked out to a fat pay cheque. (Not for the record that I think Courtney is doing that)
