What exactly was the point of the Carol twist?
Kestrel1992

It was pathetically predictable and all the housemates knew it was coming and that she hadn't been evicted so what was the point?

the HMs aren't really doing anything , so BB is trying to stir things up .

unfortunately they have no fresh ideas and so it isn't working .

Totally agree, they should of at least waited a bit longer before putting her back in .
Just was poorly thought out, none of the housemates cared.
It was a whole load of nothing.

Make her look like some sort of returning hero with valid reasons to bitch uncontrollably..aided by Emma Willis and the like suddenly elevating bitching from a reason to be hated to a reason 'shes a great housemate ' and 'stirs things up'... Remember that when unexplainably a bitching housemate is hammered next series..(if Emma et all don't like them)..

the show is a steaming pile of cack full of unlikeable arseholes, so this twist was an act of desperation to breathe some life into the show, it was the BB equilavent of Charlotte pissing in Brucies hat

Every twist BB does gets moaned about so let's hear your ideas for twists....

I think you are right about what they were trying to accomplish but I don't think it succeeded.

If they wanted a real twist, they should have gone ahead and just evicted the twisted vile witch.

I agree they're just rehashing BB14 twists but it doesn't work with this bunch as they do not care.. It was pretty cringy yesterday when Emma said "They didn't see that one coming" as in they'd all been fooled when as soon as the doorbell rang most of them shouted "CAROL!"

Untrue, the money task was clever in BB14, because nobody, that I saw online, guessed exactly how that was going to play out.

The Carol twist was total garbage.

How about they actually do evict someone like that? That would be preferable, especially if the HMs assume it's all a gag, then Emma could correctly assert; "they didn't see that coming...".

There was a time when I would wait with baited breath for the twists to be revealed and to see the housemates' reactions. However, I actually turned the TV off after the first hour last night. I honestly couldn't be bothered sitting through an hour of a depressing prison drama just to watch the predictable eviction of Sophie followed by the housemates' predictable lack of surprise when they were reunited with Carol .

Please BB team, can you possibly think up another 'twist' that doesn't involve putting Lauren in the luxury house to spy on the other housemates? You have done it twice in so many weeks and it is getting just a tinsy bit boring now :sleep:
