Coming up in tonight's EastEnders at 8:00PM On BBC1/HD and 10:30PM On BBC3...
Synopsis:
Spoiler
Tonight:
Max is released on bail, but shocks his family by revealing that the police have a key witness who claims to have seen him tampering with the car. To make matters worse, they have also found the tool that cut Carl's brakes in his house. Max knows he has been set up and makes it clear to the Brannings that he is innocent.
Later:
Max is determined not to hide away and heads to The Vic with his family. When Carl arrives, Max is determined not to give him the satisfaction of a reaction. However, knowing he has an audience, Carl asks Max why he did it. Max is still reluctant to respond but when Carl makes a remark about Kirsty, he flies at Carl again - unaware that the police are there. As a result, Max is arrested again. Just before Max is hauled away in a police car, Carl reminds him that it's exactly as he predicted - Kirsty is now on her own.
Also:
Lola sees that Abi is stressed over Max's problems and decides not to add to them by revealing Jay's betrayal. Lola explains to Jay that she hasn't told Abi, but only because she wanted to protect her friend. She warns him not to do anything like that again.
Alfie is incredulous when Roxy finally tells him about Ronnie's return and the fact that she doesn't know about their relationship, while Bianca says goodbye to the kids in order to go off on her fashion course.
Elsewhere On The Square:
*Shirley pays another visit to Phil's house in order to take what she thinks is rightfully hers.

DS Soap Forum Awards with dullagj2:
Hello all and welcome to the 2nd Annual DS Soap Forum Awards. Last year's host has since departed so I [dullagj2] have took it upon myself to organise this year's awards. They're back and bigger and better than ever. It's just a fun thread so don't take it to seriously but it's a chance for us all to come together as a forum (my favourite forum on here) plus this forum is quite quiet on the weekends. Feel free to debate some of the soap awards or tell us who you've voted for, you might want to keep the forumer ones private or maybe not.
All the awards are positive so there'll be no negativity on this thread.
Here's the rules:
1. It's 1 vote per person.
2. You can vote in as many/as few categories as you please.
3. You CANNOT vote for yourself.
4. To vote, send me a PM. All votes are confidential!
5. All categories run from 1st September 2012-1st September 2013.
6. Voting closes Friday 6th September at 11pm and the winners will be announced in a special thread Saturday 7th September.
To find out more, and cast your votes, visit the thread here! (And of course vote for Zack

Yeah, I think it would be great for the shock value, but I'm not sure the writers could be that daring.
