Over 90% say Max isn't capable of murder. Nonsense.

Max should sue the police. They had no evidence to arrest him
Quote:
I wouldn't normally agree with robbing a man while he's lying in intensive care, but I'll make an exception in Phil's case.
Quote:
Sorry but I don't think Shirley dragging Lexi into her robbery is acceptable. No matter what Phil did to her, using his granddaughter to get her revenge is dire.

Max the star of the show tonight. He is just fantastic and while I didn't want him to get into trouble I just wanted to see him deck carl one... |

Lol capable of murder, Max puts on a tough front and likes to think hes hard, doing dodgy deals with Phil gives him a right confidence boost, making him feel like one of the bad boys.
But lets face it, when it all comes down to it, Max would be scared of the likes of Tamwar. |

Great start to the thread! Quote:
She doesn't go to the hospital? I don't like what the writers are doing to Sharon in general. But then I don't like what they are doing to Shirley either, it could be written so much better between the 3 of them, especially with Phil in hospital.
Peggy might discourage Phil from getting back together with Sharon, she doesn't seem to like her again, even though they made up. Quote:
Over 90% say Max isn't capable of murder. Nonsense.
Quote:
She shouldn't be, according to law she wouldn't be allowed on the square.
But we have no option really but to go with the flow on this one. Quote:
What did Alfie expect dating Ronnie's sister.

As if philth would keep the same safe code
Quote:
Why doesn't max ignore Carl? He obviously gets pleasure winding him up
![]() Quote:
I've been in and out of the room so may have missed finer points (intend to rewatch at 10.30) but has Shirley really pretended to be interested in caring for a baby whilst her relatives are distraught so that she can use their keys to gain access to a seriously injured, possibly dying man, to rob him/.
I don't care what he has done in the past to her or anyone else, 2 wrongs don't make a right and that behaviour is despicable. She is totally, utterly, morally bankrupt. Though from a practical point of view, why does Billy have keys to Phil and why does he need to hand them over to Shirley? Surely if they were taking Lexi to the hospital they'd have a bag ready for her for the next few hours (nappies, wipes, change of clothes, bottles etc) so could have just passed that over. Very weak plotting. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind him being robbed ordinarily after what he did to Roxy, but while he's lying in his hospital bed seriously ill? While his family are out of their minds with worry? Reprehensible. Quote:
No-one deserves to be robbed under any circumstances - especially not when they are fighting for their lives. 2 wrongs do not make a right and I'm still struggling to see where Phil deliberately hurt Shirley anyway? He (wrongly) protected his son and an unfortunate side effect which he clearly regretted and hated was hurting Shirley. Would we be okay with Ian robbing him after all the hateful things he has done to him over 20 years? Or Roxy to get her 20 grand back? Or Dexter for being blamed for last week? Sharon for being run out of town in 1995 because Phil lied about how their affair started? Denise for Kevin dying after being caught up in Phil's criminal, money making schems?
I was going to say that being a parent you'd think she'd understand but well, we all know what kind of a parent she was and IS. Making plans to go to Greece with blackmailed money? What about the daughter who has, against the odds, forgiven her for being abandoned and her new grandson? Her daughter should wash her hands of her for good. Quote:
I have to say that was good. Lots of villains to boo and hiss
Plus two bundles of minge smelling tenners for Shirley to spend in Greecr ![]() Quote:
The woman who having lost her own child was mentally ill. The woman who returned the child and handed herself in to the Police. The woman who pleaded guilty and who has served her sentence and more.
I've never been a huge fan of Ronnie but on this I can see that she just wasn't well. She was broken and acted way out of character. Quote:
My name is Maximus Baldius Branningus. Commander of the Albert Square Car lot. General of the Ginger Legions. – and I will have my vengeance, in this soap or the next.
![]() Best episode of the week IMO. |

lotty its not just the heather stuff. its everything before aswell. glenda, rainie, generally not treating her very well i dont think shirley ever believed he was ever once genuine with her. everything ended up being tainted in her view.
we all know phil isnt gonna die so i find it very hard to feel sorry for him untill phil makes up completely for all his wrong doings to shirl (stops being an idiot and genuinely wanting to make her happy) only then i might be able to care/like him again. the money has been a start but only we have seen his side to it. |

Big improvement on Tuesday and Thursday episodes, Rob Gittins should not have been given the job of writing those as Monday and tonight's was far better.
Max walked straight into it with Carl, Love Ian's role in all this, classic Ian Beale storyline. LOL at Morgan thinking Bianca has gone back to prison Always find it funny when we see Billy trying to head up the Mitchells, Phil's groaning in the hospital bed was hilarious ![]() Build up to Ronnie's return is very good and Roxy and Alfie scenes were well played, |

max should be ashamed of himself . He know Lauren needs to steer clear of drink and he persistenly leave bottles out and drinks at all hours of the day in front of her .Surely they could be supportive and keep it out of sight ?

You really need to get out more, you're taking this far too personally.
On Mondays he goes line dancing, on Tuesdays he plays Bingo, Wednesdays is his knitting club, Thursdays he plays dominoes down the legion and on Fridays is the weekly meeting of the Trainspotting club. I bet you don't go out as much as old Dan. |

Ian's beeing stooopid, he could have gone to the Police ages ago about Carl's threatning behaviour in general and if Carl is out on license which he probably is, he'd be back inside before very long.
