don't do i-pod, though we have one in the house
i like the whole point of looking through my cd / vinyl collection and finding something i'd forgotten about, or hearing something on the radio that takes me by surprise. i-pod makes it all to instant, too easily played to death. I like to hear tracks blow me away like they did when I first heard them, instant replay is not always good (and what a terrible track that was).
I-pod is the new stars on 45.

As of tomorrow it will be Feeder "Pushing The Senses" & Athlete "Tourist"

I have an iPod but for me it would never replace CD. It just doesn't have the same feeling as low life says when you play them for the first time.

Lookin at some of the recent replies, I dont recognise any of the groups. Perhaps I need to get out more.

Livin Room (CD) - War of the worlds (disc 2) has been jammed inside since 1999. I know it of by heart. "do do do doooh, do do do dooh, Ulaaah, Ulaaah etc) Burton is brill.

Car Cassette - War of the Worlds (Tape 1) has been jammed in here since 1998. Hope to change car this year and recover the cassette in tacto.

Living Room Video - Last nights Emerdale & Corrie.

Mobile phone - Mad frog ring tone.

Caught that on Viva (I think) a few weeks ago, what a fantastic track and video!

I tend to have Radio 2/Virgin on more than CDs, but have been listening to Ian Dury, Lisa Loeb, Avril Lavigne and Wierd Al Yankovic.

I have this really unusual ringtone on my mobile, I get some really strange looks from people if it goes off in public.

It makes a 'ring - ring' noise..................sounds a bit like a telephone.

But seriously - I DO get weird looks from people - you'd think they'd never heard a phone before!!!

I was on the bus the other evening and this mobile went off
"A cockeral cockle doodle doing". Everbody looked under their seats then at their watch for some reason.
I asked the lady where she got the tone from. "It's part of my phones standard library" she advised.
This was amazin. I'd never hear it before. Really real.
