It looks like we might see more of Chalky White in this series, which is no bad thing. I also think Patricia Arquette has joined the cast.

Fantastic episode, I really like the whole BWE setting, and the characters.

WHy oh why can't they just get rid of Gillian... Or am I the only person that hates her character and finds her pointless?

Great to see Herc out off of The Wire join the cast, as well as Lewis Nixon.

Hate her character too, she has no redeeming features at all. To think Jimmy is dead and she's alive is annoying.

As for the first episode it feels like squeezing into a comfortable pair of slippers, it's good to have it back.

Well, no Gillian in the latest episode. No Margaret again, either. Wonder when she'll appear.

It's got such so much going on right now with Richard Harrow, Nucky, Chalky, Van Alden, Capone and now undercover agents and J. Edgar Hoover. Looks like it's going to be another good season with plenty of drama. Really like watching Capone's antics, I could watch Van Alden, Harrow and Capone for an hour.

Oh, indeed. The opening with Van Alden's various house calls was a corker.

Love this show, the production value is so high and the acting is first class, as well as the writing. Might not be as exciting as Breaking Bad but i rate this show very highly. Its hollywood production in a TV show basically, Great stuff. People dont talk about it too much but i think people will look back at this in a few years and say it was a landmark in TV production, and one of the best around.

Glad Boardwalk is back . Two strong episodes to start off the new season, especially the second one which was superb. The scene with Van Alden at the very start was cleverly done. Dennis Lehane, author of Mystic River, was a writer for episode two.

I like the look of Dr. Narcisse. He clearly doesn't like people speaking out of line. Alma in the car who talked about the tree and rope! Eek.

No Margaret again, either.
Good

As soon as she said that I knew it was all over for her. Some people in this show don't know when to keep their mouths shut.

Also, Margaret will be back, I imagine.

So far, I'm preferring this season to the last one. I think Dr Narcisse is a better bad guy than Gyp too, who I thought was way over the top and just a caricature.

I really liked Gyp, he lit up the screen. You felt it could kick off at any moment for him, a bit like Capone. The new Dr Narcisse looks like a real long game type compared to the impulsive bad guys we see.

I wonder what Roy is up to? The chap who is hanging about with Gillian.

Dr. Narcisse is already starting or laying the foundation to mess with Chalky and his business. This guy is a hypocrite and nasty.

As for Gyp Rosetti, I also liked the character. One really didn't know when he would blow his gasket. Actor Bobby Canavale's portrayal of this funny and scary character earned him a well-deserved Emmy win Sunday night.

Maybe, it's my age, because I've seen many characters done before like Gyp and I thought it was sign-posted a mile off when he was going to harm someone. It was too predictable for my liking. I also think that in reality he would have been taken out long before he actually was, especially for bringing attention by killing cops and innocent citizens.

Really enjoying this season, more so than Season 1 and Season 3 so far.

I like Gyp, but I also found him quite a caricature, Dr. Narcisse seems like much more of a cold and calculating villain.

Mr. Narcisse...It's Dr!
