Agreed. Though to me, regardless how much money is thrown at the show it will never improve. People have given up. There is no way back at all. I give it five years before it faces the axe.

It still gets 7+ million viewers? With the right producer and team of writers, EE can improve, not sure why you think not.

I knew it wasn't going to as good as some hyped up on here but it was even worse than my expectations and just proved that without Phil the Mitchell's are a non-entity filled with the terrible 'next gen' of the Mitchell's. Billy and Roxy to an extent are the only decent ones left. The other three or so are dire.

It was another poor week. The main storyline was uninteresting and badly paced, the stunt was unremarkable and overhyped and the acting from all concerned in the story was sadly not very good.

Is it me or does the OP seem to think every week is 'great' and 'thrilling'?

I only saw Thursday's episode which was crap to say the least. They need to axe the Brannings.

I don't think this week was brilliant. I didn't enjoy seeing Max on the scene because Jake Wood, Max, mumbles and I can't hear what he is saying some of the time.

I just saw the ratings and audience share for Friday. What a disaster! It's fair to say Crash Week flopped.

Because it was on the same time as the England match.

No excuse? It just goes to show the show is in a bad state.

Agree. The stunt was poor. What happened to Phil's seatbelt?
Why did nobody question the speed and erratic driving of Carl?
Why did Carl risk his own life for such a complicated revenge anyway?
Why the need for a helicopter?
The whole storyline is a mess.

Poor poor poor! Absolute tripe!

Carl's voice for a start is pathetic! He permanently sounds like a dirty anonymous phone caller! Max is a size zero and thinks he can take on anyone of any size in a fight! The colour of Lola's burnt orange arms were disgusting and WHAT ON EARTH was the point of the air ambulance scene?.....the entire week was absolute rubbish!

The youngsters have come back from their camping trip minus £10,000 which Cindy junior has then. You see her with the money and the others back on the square and (unless I missed something) you don't see her again for a whole week?!!?
All in all a very poor performance

Lauren Klee (crap), Matt Evans (good/very good) and Katie Douglas (extra crap).

OMG not Lauren Klee she should be banned from EastEnders along with Katie Douglas and countless others!

Well there certainly isn't going to be a ratings coup after last week's 'big' episodes ... football or no football is no excuse!

What was LN thinking?! Do the BBC want this show to die on it's arse or what?!

It came undone? Was a pretty old motor so not hard to believe it could've broke due to the impact.

Because they're all under the belief that Max cut the brakes, hence a reason for any possible erratic driving? And at this moment in time Phil is the only one who was with Carl, and he's in a coma...

Because he's a nutter? That not simple enough for you?
