Hmm perhaps you are right but the Aussie influence is minute its more like Jerry Hall meets Joanna Lumley.

I noticed that too...she was reeeaaaallly exaaaaagerating everything she was saaaaaayyying, in a reeeeeaaaaallly annoying way...I don't remember her talking that way before. I know she kept saying "yeah" and "yes", but she cut way back on that right quick.

Yes, she does speak in a rather affected way, but she sure knows her stuff. Also she might dance with Ian again, wouldn't miss that for the world.

Thank god I'm not the only one that feels like that, her voice goes through me, so much so when speak on the show I don't listen to what her opinion is of celebs.

Er no I haven't, it is rare for me to dislike how someone speaks for me her speaking voice is irritating and not sexy at all. It sounds so false and put on as well as being three dimensional....
She talks a lot of sense. Her voice is no more irritating than many others on Strictly - different people are irritated by different accents, nothing new here

Darcy certainly does know her stuff.
I must be listening to a different Darcey this year, because on the One Show reveal every time she was asked a question she seemed to waffle. There was very little that was constructive or meaningful - for example, when asked about Fiona Fullerton's chances, she said "as a Bond Girl, Fiona should be used to bringing out what's needed at the last minute". WTF? That doesn't even make sense!
I briefly caught Darcy rolling her lower jaw from side to side like a sheep. I hope she doesn't keep doing it or I shall call her Shaun.
