Unfortunately Anton can't do Latin.

It would be great if she were so good, and their relationship so strong, that she brought out the best in him and he upped his game.

She most certainly is not Z list. That would be the barrage of reality show contestants that pass for celebs these days. She is a fine actress and a classy lady.

I'm just hoping they don't make this series more about Anton's journey on Strictly and the focus is on him more than Fiona. If Fiona lives up to peoples expectations and she is good then I think there's a fair chance she could make the final (if it's a 4 couple final like last year). Mainly because there might then be a chance of Anton finally leaving as he is looking increasingly out of place when compared with the other dancers!

If Fiona is good then she will be Anton's 4th good partner- Lesley, Patsy and Laila being his other 3 decent partners who he came 3rd, 5th and 4th with, and regularly scored over 30 with.

But I predict a repeat of series 7 when he partnered Laila and we had to endure the rubbish (not to mention downright lies) of - Anton's never been in a quarter or semi final, he's never danced in December or topped the leaderboard ,and every partner he's had has been completely inept. Yes, he's had his fair share of duds but he's also had some good partners too and his Strictly career hasn't been a complete disaster.

Omg! Second up "Anton Du Bond" and his lovely Bond Girl Fiona in a fabulous hot red gown and didn't they dance well, this really is a dance partnership to watch.

I find Anton embarrassing to watch. And has he had a hair weave? It's like he's got a dead squirrel on his head.

The eighties is my Bond era so I will be supporting FF all the way..

It could only be better if Carole Bouquet, Maud Adams, Maryam D'Abo or Carey Lowell be in the competition.

But not Tanya Roberts.

I loved Fullerton from her earliest role as Alice in Wonderland (Michael Crawford as the White Rabbit).

She stepped down from acting 20 years ago and is still gorgeous - albeit middle aged and over weight (who isn't?) But she is really worth a shot and hope Anton steps up to the mark with a really lovely woman this time - not a comedy item or a seriously deluded Nancy or Jerry. OK - of course they won't win - but hope they compete with dignity and honesty.

Anton has a real partner this time - interesting to see what he makes of her.

I don't think that there are many that would disagree with you.

I am hoping he has a real chance this time. Fiona seemed very nervous tonight but as the judges said hid her misplaced steps well. With a bit of luck next week she will feel and look alot more confident and will do even better. Once she got some good views from the judges she seemed alot happier. I really want them to go all the way.
Good luck Fiona and Anton

Lovely post . Anton has been coasting for a few years with dud partners but at last he's got someone who can dance and I hope he treats her with the respect she deserves and choreographs some great dances .

I enjoyed their Tango and I hope Fiona turns out to be a contender with a little more confidence.

He seems to manage ok when he dances with Erin. Let's hope she's in the wings helping out.

Judging by last nights start, they could last a few weeks, but not a sniff of the final.

At last Anton has bagged himself a sexy lady who SHOULD be able to carry off the moves. Fiona has still got it

God I hope not, there would be stopping His Smugness. Luckily there are Latin dances, too.

I think Anton might actually have a contender this year, which I feel he strongly deserves. I've seen him and Erin in their dancing tour and their Latin was fine, as he proved last night. Good luck to Anton and Fiona this year.

Dyed I thought, but it could be a weave.

007 Anton Du Bond Mr Wonderful and his pretty girl Fiona what a fabulous Cha Cha Cha on Strictly tonight, this couple definitely does have a licence to thrill.

Do you think Fiona has lots of promise?

I think Anton and Fiona have a real chance of staying the course this year which is brilliant

She hasn't wowed me yet in the way I thought she would but it's interesting that Craig is supportive of them. Perhaps they'll get a slow dance this week where she might be able to produce a stand out performance (like Stephenson's Rumba). I'm just worried if she ends up in a dance off at some point with someone 'popular' like Natalie.

No, he's just grown it longer and had it slightly highlighted. I like Anton's new hair style actually.

Fiona's got style. And I'm glad to see Anton's coming along with his latin, I'm crossing my fingers that with her help he'll act on the judges' constructive advice and the viewers will keep him in.
