Ok so Tara was only in the show for a handful of episodes, but Liz May Brice is a great actress, she was awesome in Bad Girls and in Torchwood.

I would welcome a return for Tara, she was intriguing and it would be good if we got to see a bit more depth from the character.

What does everyone else think?

I wouldn't want her to return for Billy however, he doesn't really seem her type. But perhaps she has an ulterior motive for being in the square.

Maybe make her Lolas mother?

She's a business woman, there is nothing stopping her from staying on the Square again on another business trip. I think she would be a great addition and I believe the way to introduce her is another two short visits before maybe moving to the area permanently.

She could have just made up the whole conference thing.

I love her. Her and Sadie could definitely strike up an alliance, with Sharon thrown into the mix as well. They could definitely go down a gold digger route with Tara also, have a rich but not very desirable business man move to the area, have her marry him quickly and then have help from a couple of friends with killing him.

Or better yet have her team up with Danny, he could do with some friends.

Sadie, Tara and Danny as a trio of successful middle class "fag hags". That's something I'd like to see!

I did see some potential in the character. I wouldn't be against a longer stint if they had a plan in place for her.

That's the thing isn't it? Danny was brought in and he was a character with lots of potential but sadly, they've done very little with him. Carl on the other hand came in with a purpose and while it's taken a while, he has grown on me and I actually really like him now!

They must have some plans for Danny, I just wish they would integrate him more in the square. I'm not sure that he is needed though as Carl seems to have filled his role.

Danny's return was a mistake in my opinion. All the characters he interacted with apart from Masood have left and now he has to start all over again as he has no reason to interact with Masood anymore. I don't think the actor is very good either so I'm not interested in the character.

I liked Carl until this week. He became too panto and morphed into Derek Branning. The actor quite clearly wasn't comfortable with the material and it showed. If they have any sense they'll drop this feud with the Brannings, get him back with Kirsty and bring his family in on a recurring basis. Those are the areas where the character has shined.

There's more potential with Tara than there ever was with Danny in my opinion. The actress is very good for a start.

Yes, but don't couple her with billy, I like him but she's far to out of his league.

The thing with Danny is that he is dragging Janine into a tight corner. She doesn't seem to really interact with the other residents anymore. She should have been heavily involved in the whole Liam plot for a start, being his Auntie.

I think Janine has been backed into a corner by the decision to make her rich. From that point onwards she was only ever going to be involved with business associates and employees. Her immediate family (including Pat) are all gone and she's never been the type to get involved in the hum drum lives of Walford residents unless she absolutely has to. They've cut her ties to Whitney, and by extension the Jacksons, because they need Alice to be the young girl she interacts with. I struggle to think what will be done with Janine when Michael leaves. A string of business orientated stories with wooden Danny doesn't fill me with joy. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Charlie Brooks will be leaving.
