Haven't we been here before though MATM about keeping up with the music getting in the zone and well working it. and critic bashing Piece Of Me. Not that i'm complainign i love the idea and it does have huge relevance but old ground perhaps.

The only way any of this can work is if she is wholly invested again. FF was a flop of a fnatastic album let down a by a lazy attitude and unwillingness to fully commit. I'm hoping for the best but first Circus failing to ignite then FF i'm keeping my excitment low for now in terms of full on Kylie like comeback.
what i have heard before is the hype surrounding her up and coming releases, like when brian friedman insisted britney was talking risks with her fashion, choreography, music and then, "femme fatale" arrived. all these rumours and gushing praise from people involved in the project sound good on paper, if not a little camp in places.

however, this time she really needs to deliver. i appreciate her fans will always be there for her, but she has squandered a lot of casual support over the years when people have hoped for a return to form and she has under delivered or not put in the required effort.

personally, i want her to do well and i know things haven't been easy for her over the years, but this time she really does need to up her game.

Exactly it lot of time it's like smoke without fire we end up choking on our expectations when the increasingly laclustre product and attitude rears it's ugly head.

And your right if she wants to egt abck on top she ahs to reconnect with the public and that means being seen and being approachable. Her aloof robotic attitude and allergy to promotion doesn't help things she can ahve the best amterial in the world but it's not 1999 anymore things ahve chnaged.

So pumped for Monday when we officially get to hear Britney's brand new single Work Bitch. Hopefully this lead single from her eighth studio album will live up to the hype and expectations..... if it's as good as her previous lead songs such as Gimme More and Womanizer then she'll be onto a winner.

Work Bitch premieres WORLDWIDE on Monday 16th September 2013

I love all female super stars (except Rita Ora) but Britney sits at the top of the pack for me, super excited!

New details:

Official info.

- will.i.am is the Co-producer of the song.

- Britney Co-wrote the single.

- It features the return of her British Accent.

- It sounds like a Boys Noise production.

- Vocally it's similar to Gimme More.

- No featuring artist.

- Something between Midtempo and Uptempo.

- The other co-producers of the song (who aren't will.i.am) have never worked w/ Britney before

- RuPaul is not sampled in the track

- Ben Mor is the Director of the video and it's already been shot (earlier work: I Gotta Feeling, Part of Me, Meet Me Halfway, Just Can't Get Enough, Scream and Shout)

What? No Ru Paul?!!

Ok, excitement levels immediately lowered

It would have been epic if Ru was chanting "you better work" and "shanté, you stay/sashay, away" in the background.

I havent let my hopes build for Britney's new era after being left disappointed with both Circus and Femme Fatale and for me this is her last chance to prove me wrong, if she doesnt i will still remain a fan but i wont be a hardcore fan any longer. I think she will kill it this era though but thats just me hoping.

I am excited for the new single and the video which looks like it could be her best yet role on Album 8 and may this new era shock everyone

Is it just me or does Britney seem to have a new single or album out every few months, with each event being proceeded by "huge comeback" statements. How can you have a comeback if you've never really been away (apart from the album released after her breakdown).

Apart from scream and shout and ooh la la which was a soundtrack her last album was 2011

I saw this blind item and I'm pretty sure we know who it's about ..... EXCITED!!!!!

You are going to be shocked when you see this former superstar in the next couple of months! Reports from the set of her latest project are that she is amazingly healthy… and fit… and mentally sharp! We can’t even remember the last year that she was all three of those thing at the same time. She is so healthy and fit that the body double and the stunt person that were hired to sub in her for on certain shots have been sitting on the sidelines during the entire shoot! She is doing all her own work, and she is performing like she did during her peak. She is totally in charge on this production. No, she’s not being a bitch. She just knows what she wants, and she has been ordering people around with a confident smile. The crew reports that she shows up prepared and energetic every single day, and that she is genuinely happy, creative, encouraging and quite funny. They are really loving working with her. In fact, she is so sharp and mentally fit that we are pleased to exclusively report that a certain legal arrangement that was designed to protect her is being dissolved soon! She is clearly ready for a professional comeback, and ready to take charge of her own life again.

Scream & Shout and Ooh La La weren't really comeback songs. S&S was a will.i.am song and Ooh La La was for The Smurfs 2 and it probably won't be on the new album.

Love the single cover properly her best single cover in a long time for me its got a Blackout vibe to it for some reason, her eyes look alive to this time round.

As for people saying why is it called a comeback well her last album was 2011, S&S was a Will song and Ohh Lala was just a movie soundtrack.

As i said before my expectations are low at the moment cause we heard all this stuff with the FF era on how she was killing it how she will shock everyone etc so im not getting to excited although i did get overly excited with seeing the single cover

I just hope this album is something she is 100% behind and fully committing to it unlike Femme Fatale where she looked bored and not interested in any of the songs imo.

As for Promotion i wouldnt get my hopes up for any UK promo since it looks like her Vegas show will be her priority but who knows she may squeeze in a few weeks worth of promo for europe.

Having just viewed the official single cover for Work Bitch! I must say I'm impressed, it's definitely her best in quite some time.

I wonder if the theme will run throughout the campaign and the artwork for the album or if it's just a one off stand alone....

I really like the artwork .... I am very excited by the gimme more comparison. The baseline on that track was awesome.
