App for positioning
Does anyone know of an App that gives the exact coordinates ie latitude and longitude, of a persons position. That can then be saved and sent back to the office to record the position of a piece of our equipment

What OS? There are a number of apps on Android that can do this - Locus free would be my choice. I'm sure there are some on iOS too.

Would it be useful to do a 2 in 1 via a Photo map database ?
Search 'GPS Photo' for something that ensures GPS lock is on for the photo. Otherwise any tracking app that creates a GPX or similar file would probably do. |

Take a look at the personal safety apps, several of those allow you to send a text or email with your exact coordinates on to a nominated phone or email address.
