BBC iPlayer - Downloading Programmes on Huawei Y300
Having seen the recent announcement from the BBC that iPlayer will allow the downloading of programmes to Android devices, I promptly updated iPlayer. However, despite the fact the Y300 runs Jelly Bean, there is no evidence of being able to do this. Does this new functionality only work on certain devices, despite the OS version being used?

Yes. The blurb on the play store says more phones will be added.

Problems with iplayer on y300
Just got a new Huawei Ascend Y300 and downloaded the bbc iplayer and itv player apps for android and they are both really stuttery too - the sound is really poor. Anyone had any success in fixing this???::
