EastEnders - Jack forgave Ronnie but why is he furious she's back?
I remembered Jack forgiving Ronnie in 2011. He was furious and unforgiving when he found about James. But Jack forgave Ronnie in the end and supported her. He even planned to go on the run with Ronnie.
But Jack despises Ronnie now and doesn't want her back in the Square? Did the writers forget this or was this done on purpose? |

He probably said it in the heat of the moment back then, and now he's been thinking more

I guess when it comes down to it, he is still angry she made him live a lie. Let him believe the boy he held was his son.
You can forgive someone but still be angry. |

The funny thing is, everyone discovered Ronnie was being released round about February time and nobody had much of a problem. This was conveniently forgotten and when it was brought up again, only Roxy was happy to see her back |

I don't get it either but Jack's never been a consistently written character.

He even planned to run away with her I. Her last episode in 2011 so definitely forgave her am glad they remembered Michael setting up Ronnie before she left as Michael and Jack talked about it in today's episode

To me he seemed more upset than angry, but instead of crying or moping, he just lashed out.
I don't think he knows how to deal with Ronnie getting out. I think part of him wants to be back with her. |

It could have happened offscreen, remember he used to visit Ronnie a lot in prison, I think she told him not to visit her anymore!

Didn't his attitude completely change towards her after she told Roxy to tell him never to visit her in prison and then asked for a divorce?
That would have affected how he looks back on her and the entire situation. But I think this episode showed that he's massively conflicted when it comes to Ronnie with some polarising emotions. |

Jack never thinks with his head. I'm glad he will soon be long gone!
