God, the amount of BS posted in the last few hours is truly something.

Humour me - what would the iPhone need in order to be a smartphone?
Yes, I just can't be bothered to join in, it is so ridiculously based upon irrational hatred of all things Apple.

Contact the Mods and get the thread locked. It's well past it's sell by date.

b. from the little video, the internal frame looks much more substantial than I imagine many other frames are. In the corners it looks almost 1cm thick.
Neat trick since the phone is 8.97mm thick.

I think someone can be forgiven then for suggesting that something that is .9cm looks "about 1cm"

They're talking about the internal frame.

I highly doubt the 5C will sell out. Most people will want the 5S

Not that neat, seeing as 8.97mm is nearly 1cm.

Anyway, I was referring to the width, more than the depth. But since you need a bit of clarification, if you were looking at the phone from above as it was lying flat, where the frame is thickest is in the four corners, where it looks almost 1cm thick. Although I don't have an exact measurement, so it may be slightly less than 1cm, in case that wasn't already clear from the "it looks almost" part.

Point is, it looks like a much stronger internal frame than you would find in most plastic phones.

Has it been confirmed whether the 5C really is ceramic and the 'made from plastic' was Apple's idea of a joke?

c = ceramic?

And the wristwatch I'm wearing at the present time is a fraction of the price of a Rolex yet both tell the time, what's you're point?
You totally fail to get it, the N4 is a third the price but a higher spec.

OK - keep your hair on!

Anyway, you're going to like this bit, as I'm about to say I got this wrong.

Looking at the video here:

video link.

It shows the frame being inserted from about 1:40. At 1:48 you can see it being placed. But when its shown from above, the part that looked like the frame obviously wasn't the frame after all.

Still, at least I can acknowledge that I got something wrong.

Three are offering it around the same sort of price. £46 per month and £50 up front. Think I prefer Three's option as at least then you getting unlimited data. How much Data you getting with vodafone for 47? Noticed that EE are offering it at £46 with 10GB of data and £60 upfront. Think even though those are a little more up front you getting benefits. Three you getting unlimited data and on EE you getting a massive LTE coverage already and a good amount of data.

Wow so Vodafone is certainly not the network to go with that is an insane amount both EE and Three are offering far better deals. I am shocked how high is on Three though the HTC one on the One plan was £36 and the S4 £37. Not sure how the 5C should be £46 at all.

that's not what you said alan. you called the N4 a fashion toy. which is straight out of Hugh_'s stable. it's unbecoming of you.
