Agreed I haven't got a clue what he is going on about. I think he is someone who is an android fan bot and hates iOS on principle. I love to see competition I was certainly a let down today but I never expected anything massively different that will be on the iPhone 6.

It had nothing to do with thinking "everything Apple do is perfect".
It was to do with the utter nonsense you posted earlier about how Apple must have thought "the iPhone 5 was a piece of shot".

Is that true?
The 'budget' iPhone 5C is costing £469 sim-free? Is that a joke? That's a PREMIUM price for a budget phone!

No I genuinely feel sorry for all those loyal apple followers with last year's flagship and this years land fill phone.
By the way I asked earlier did we get an answer to whether the HD screen had been invented by apple yet on the new iPhone 5 mark 2 |

People paid those prices for a flagship 3GS which was plastic too.
Sony Xperia Z £388 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Xperia-...words=xperia+z HTC One (32gb storage as well!) £424 http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-One-32GB...ywords=htc+one Samsung S4 £427 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-Gala...ords=galaxy+s4 Nexus 4 £199 https://play.google.com/store/device...d=nexus_4_16gb Then there are phones like HTC One X, Samsung S3 etc. All of which can be had for cheaper, with better spec and premium Design/performance. I think we need to stop referring to the 5c as a budget iphone, it's just a re-released i5 with a plastic makeover. |

Yes but what competition did it have at that price point?? This is 2013 and £469 buys you a heck of a lot these days.

But will be interesting to see if when they phrase out the 4S in 2014 if they can put the 5C free on a contract or discontinue it? If the 5C is free on a contract in 2014 it would be interesting. |

It will be amazing if the 5c hasn't gone the way of the 5 by 2014

I think many of you are not understanding Apple's business model and strategy with the 5c. They would prefer western consumers buy the 5s not the 5c. Their target market with the 5c is the Chinese. The 5c will be sold much much cheaper in that market as Apple desperately need to make inroads in China.
For the western market the price differential is not that great. There is also a matter street cred to consider. Do you really want to be seen with a 5c if all your peers have the 5s? There's a lot of clever psychology at work here and Apple know it. It will still (presumably) be a premium device, wouldn't it have been better to launch a real budget or mid-range phone..thereby bringing tens of millions more customers into the market for the highly sought-after Apple name in China, India, and elsewhere ? |

Such appalling value for money. Until Apple do the right thing with regards to paying a fair rate of tax I will not entertain the idea of purchasing one of their products. |

PS The 5c looks very much like a Lumia. Are Nokia historically litigious as a company? |

Because they released a new model a year later apparently.
Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, but hey, what do I know? Its what some people might call trolling. |
