Hannah was the best, with Relly and Tamera close behind.

Hannah was the best, followed by Melanie & Abi.

Tamera awful. Jade good but I don't like that song. Relley was too shouty and I think she was doing good when she was avoiding these 'diva' songs we've heard 100 times already. Shelley and Sam were good! Amy not so good.

i thought there were parts of tamera's stay which were good but she just went so bloody overboard, if i were a judge i would have stopped the performance straight away!, told her to calm it down and continue.

i thought melanie was the best!

I agree. Some people just take it overboard rather than just singing the bloody song. I liked Melanie's as it was simple and pure

1. Hannah
2. Melanie
3. Relley C
4. Jade
5. Tamera
6. Abi
7. Amy

Hannah really impressed me with that song. Tamera and Melanie are definite locks for lives though, last spot is between Hannah and Abi.

Tamera is a cert for the live shows, so it doesn't matter if she messes up or not...

I thought overall Melanie was the best followed closely by Hannah.

Its a strange one, I agree with Tamera being a cert for lives (even though I didn't rate her BC performance), vt would put Melanie, abi and Hannah in contention for the final two spots with jade/relley/amy the outliers. I find it very difficult to see them saying no to Melanie though, it would make no sense - she is vocally one of if not the best in the girls category. I wouldn't rule out wildcard either as the standard is pretty high thus year.

I just hope they are going to be judged on their actual singing performance, and not put through because of what they might do in the live shows, otherwise it just makes it a farce.

I think Tamera is also a lock for the liveshows. Going on the bootcamp performances I'd give the last two slots to Melanie/Hannah. However I can also see a scenario where Hannah takes the fall at Judge's Houses, cue public outcry/backlash at Tamera who becomes the hate figure going into the finals.

At the same time I can also imagine them building up Melanie hugely and cutting her again at judges houses. Sure it would make no sense, much like the other times that she's been cut but it would definitely give them the controversy and uproar that they love. Imagine it, public underdog Melanie coming back for one last time, sings flawlessly through all the rounds just to be sabotaged at the last hurdle again. Horrible, but I can see them doing it.

That would be absolutely heartbreaking for Melanie if they cut her at bootcamp

Melanie and Abi were fantastic. Others were very good except for Tamara.

Tamara remindes me of Melanie 2 years ago - young girl trying way too hard to impress, rather than just being herself. She needs another year or two to find herself. I think they should cut her loose at judges house and have her come back next year.

I totally agree. I loved Abi. I feel like Melanie is a different person this year. Her voice is so controlled and pure. I actually felt emotional when I was listening to her sing the One that Got Away

I agree, although I believe she has an amazing talent and I could appreciate it for what it is I couldn't quite connect with what she was singing, this is the first time for me that I could feel the emotion in her singing, it drew me in. (IMO).

There's no way that Melanie isn't F3 because lets be honest she has definitely been 'invited' to audition this year. She was pretty strong in her statements last year or never wanting to come back.

She may have been invited back to audition but I'm sure she is not the only one in the history of X-factor to be invited back. I doubt they would have promised her getting into the final 3 without seeing the other contestants
