Hello everyone and hope you are all looking forward to today's hour long special. It promises to be a day of drama what with Ronnie back and Rolfie as a couple will either break up or make up after today. I have enjoyed Ronnie's return scenes so far (I still remember when she left, crying when she was imprisoned when the Julia's theme started playing) I do hope Ronnie gets a scene with Sharon soon- and actually speaking of Sharon, what happened to her pill addiction? She said she got clean in America but she was only away for 2 weeks? That was quick!

But let's get going by taking a look at Ronnie Mitchell's secret diary

So, I'm back on the square again after 2 years and Kat of all people is taking me into her home (is she trying to get me arrested again?) And who should be waiting for me but malicious Michael, honestly who does he think he is, bragging about being a parent?! My goal during this stint is to crack at least one smile but he just isn't helping matters. I hear from Kat that Phil's in hospital- I'm not too bothered, the guy's got nine lives- but I do worry for Roxy. What's that Alfie doing to her (after all, he is the bad guy, its always the man's fault). I think Kat's just put Tommy to bed upstairs... back in a mo.

Well you know me, I ain't one to gossip but the word is that Ronnie Mitchell is up and about, and 6.4 million people saw her come back Oh dear, oh dear, too many witnesses! That woman needs ta be safe, away from all these horrid memories! And 'ere, I 'eard that Jean's mental 'ealth is getting worse. Well I'm not surprised, a daughter getting up to who-knows-what, on the run for murder and a son whose vanished off the face of the earth! That poor woman but ma Nick was like that, always a handful.

So... Rolfie. Not going to lie, I seriously hoped these two would get together. After Kat kept treating him like dog muck time and time again, Alfie deserved some happiness right? And who better than a woman as hot as the sun tattooed on her arm to love him back? The Vic while Kat was away last year was revived by Alfie and Roxy's undeniable chemistry and there was a great spark between them. But of course, Kat had to poke her beak into the situation by stirring things up (though she was bumping uglies with old Toadface) and things went downhill when Alfie went on the rebound. Roxy loves Alfie more than any other man she has loved (except perhaps Sean) and its horrible seeing them go through the motions when we KNOW what'll happen: and my guess is that this Christmas will be a Moon family episode, with Michael's exit and a Kalfie reunion (on their 10th wedding anniversary no less). I do feel sorry for Roxy. Their spark was completely destroyed when Alfie went on the rebound and started making puppy dog eyes at Kat- and Jean and Ollie have at separate times mentioned Alfie's lingering love for his ex wife. Because we know what will happen, they are no longer interesting.

It's a shame because I remember their friendship in 2010 (Roxy paid 2 months rent for Alfie) and they stopped sharing scenes after Kat got jealous. I remember hoping to revisit their old friendship as the square didn't have many inter gender friendships (as the man and woman inevitably got together). But now that chemistry has gone, I can only hope that this build up has been worth it and that Kat won't be dropping her knickers again for someone other than Alfie.
