i really dont understand why people go on about how much they dislike nadia!! There are lots of big brother housemates that i dont particularily like but i dont chat about them 24/7 i wouldnt bother wasting my time!
If you dislike her so much then dont buy magazines she appears in or watch any programmes she features in.. its as simple as that!
Oh and for the record the whole man thing is gettin really boring now shes a woman end of story!

Me neither. In fact Heat magazine has lost me as a reader mainly due to their obsession with her.

I don't disagree with that rule; but I do wonder: was it off limits to call Tania "Mania", "Dave", etc? To say Tania or Lisa looked like a man? Can we say Nadia looks like a man? (I'm not saying she does, mind you.)

I also did not fully agree with the moderators on this Nadia-he thing when I first joined this forum but I never had any problems with her chosen gender in the first instance. I am sufficiently aware of transsexuality before the advent of Nadia and the attendant social adjustment difficulties.

It is much easier than if I had known her as Jorge before her transition to female as I have no memories of her male identity to potentially fight against subconsciously.

Anyway, on this forum, arguing/disputing the moderators's rule is a one way street - it's either their way or the cyberhighway.

That whole BB4 'man' thing about Tania and Lisa was ridiculous.
Tania especially behaved with great dignity after she left the house, never tried to flog her 15 mins at all.

It's understandable that they don't want to spend their time arguing over the rules, and I think they do a good job of keeping discussion here reasonably civil.

I'm not disputing the rule, but I'm wondering what the rule is and whether it was the same during BB4 or else changed as part of the Nadia revolution.

The "Dave" and "Mania" stuff about Tania looks like a violation of that rule to me -- because it's describing her by a gender with which she did not associate herself -- though perhaps saying someone (such as Lisa) merely "looks like a man" manages to be on the right side of some fine line?

I think that gay men generally fancy other men, so I doubt that they would find Nadia attractive

Referring to another human being as it is not quite nice or necessary.

Referring to Nadia as it is actually hugely offensive.

Actually, I was saving further opprobrium and condemnation for Nadia fans to direct at the guilty poster.

For once, I actually agree with you.

It's hugely offensive and, Dazsin, if you can't accept that Nadia is a woman or that straight men find her attractive then keep it to yourself, instead of breaking the rules while trying to get your point across.

It looks like a violation to the rules to me, too. I don't agree with it at all, whether it involved Nadia or Tania or anyone.
