I've seen a lot of similar posts to yours today, Pennywonder - you're not alone by any stretch

I especially liked the BIB

You can't really, can you?

Not with a clear conscience.

I've always liked her and like her even more now she's on BB. Wonderful housemate

She's an intelligent and articulate woman but also a chav-like drunk.

Correct me if I'm wrong or I missed something but Carol not say last night "I will kill Vicky if she stays and I go." I know she was drunk but I always thought Big Brother would have brought her into the diary room and given her a warning for threatening behaviour. Or do rules not apply to Carol:

Clearly a last-ditch attempt to get a rise out of Vicky. Carol said earlier that she was "spoiling for a fight", and it was obvious, from what I saw on the highlights show, that she had been needling Vicky over some issue regarding the red / rose wine. Like you, Ellef, I quite liked Carol at first, but I think she's shown some true colours that clash with what I would find likeable or endearing.

How can you possibly think that Carol is intelligent and articulate but also a chav like drunk?

I think that Carol is a very bitter and twisted woman who only thinks about herself and nobody else! Its no wonder she does not want children, she is far too selfish to have children and she loves her booze too much! As for her young toy boy it makes me wonder how long he will stick around in the next few years as Carol gets older and even more bitter!

We can all see now why Chris Evans kicked her into touch that is for sure! I should imagine that the Loose Women producers are glad that Carol has left, she has done them a massive favour. Who wants a bitchy, nasty, vindictive backstabber like her on their panel after what we have all seen over the last 3 weeks?

At first I found her funny but I've really gone off her.
I'd hate to be the only thing between her and a bottle of wine.

I agree she's been so negative on the show.. I do wonder if it's a part of a bigger problem.
She's with a younger guy and just seems to go on endless holidays with him..plus her reliance on the booze....she's denying reality in her every life choice?
She's given up her day job and must be wondering if she can
hold the fame thing together(and the money that goes with it!)
Will Mark leave her if and when the money dries up....I think this is why she's so negative, she's bloody insecure.

Sorry Big Brother eviction crowd should have backed Vicky not Carol...shes so horrible. But, Charlotte, Mario and Louie could quite easily say Carol stop. They are equally as bad.

I'm thinking along the same lines as you.

I suspect her relationship with Mark is not as strong as one would hope. Like Denise who used the house as a precursor as she prepared to call time on her marriage to settle with a guy she was in an adulterous relationship with, Carol may be nursing deep-seated wounds of her own.

I agree Carol is the ringleader of the clique, they have decided who to exclude from their gang at all times. Not one of the others around Carol have the balls to stand up to her & say enough is enough.

I'd say that it was Vicky who was 'needling' Carol, by taking the nearly finished bottle of red wine from the others, having drunk all the Rose herself. Vicky was obviously drunk (remember her staggering down the stairs afterwards?) and then had forgotten that she'd given the red wine back to Carol.
