Very interesting, but what a pity that Carol is one of them and Courtney is not! If Courtney had been in there instead of her and Sophie instead of Mario then I would be really pleased with the line up. But I am just so glad that we have Abz and Vicky there and I don't mind Charlotte too much either!

Teen BB had more women at the end, I think? (depending on whether or not you count the disqualified guy whose name I can't remember) Pretty sure a guy won but women were in 2nd and 3rd.

I'm fairly confident this must be the oldest male cast in the history of the show, which probably helped (anyone want to do the stats? I could be wrong overall but they've got a very old vibe)
It's no surprise only 2 young "fit" men made it to the end, while the other 4 have been kicked out. Ironically, it's the 3 most attractive women and the 4 least attractive men who've been evicted - anyone who didn't think the female voters didn't dominate would be proven wrong!

Yes, I am pretty sure in a few series, more females have gone in, but they still always have had more men.
I agree with the public this year, they finally have realized that the women were much better entertainers (and in most series, they are), but for the first time, the entertainment has reflected in the voting.

I think it's more that the boring men mostly haven't been attractive enough to root for and most of the dominant women have had enough elements that would appeal to a conventional voter (Lauren's a sympathy case, Vicky and Carol are both of the similar age to the average female voter. Charlotte's a bit of an exception but has the biggest pre-existing fanbase of any C5 female housemate).
