I was thinking similar when Dustin & Bruce went.

Also both of the men are straight, and one of the women used to be a man!

That is quite striking.
It tells against one thought about a woman going first (always in BB though not in CBB): that it's purely a matter of harsher first impressions. Especially since there have been more female HMs in regular BB (dunno about CBB).

Love the way minorites celebrate any titbit in their favour.

Are you under the impression that women are in a minority?

Truly historical!

The night will live long in the memory. Simon Schama is already writing a chapter on it to add to the ones on the Romans, the Greeks and World War Two!

I can say "I was there, when history was made."

History in reality TV I mean. Not history as in the wars...

We knew what you meant and it is still history.

Do you happen to have the stats of male to female overall winners Salv? It would be quite interesting to see how given that there was often only one woman in the top 5 (or so) how they actually finished.

There were a group of 3 young males led by one particularly nasty, IMO, piece of work. By not nominating each other all three sailed through to the final - two of them without ever going up for eviction. Nothing wrong with that of course. I only wish the girls would vote with their heads rather than their hearts at times.

However in CBB 10 I found the presence of the ringleader in the final particularly maddening. It seemed like a vindication of his nasty attitude to women, who he seemed to think of as bitches and ho's.

I can't even remember his name and didn't know who he was in the first place but is high on my list as the nastiest HM ever.

Cheers Trumbles. I love how you guys have this information at your finger tips. You really CAN get the staff around here can't you?

If 2 women make the final 2 then that will also be BB history too. 3 women making the final 3, or 4 women making the final 4 likewise.

It's no surprise only 2 young "fit" men made it to the end, while the other 4 have been kicked out. Ironically, it's the 3 most attractive women and the 4 least attractive men who've been evicted - anyone who didn't think the female voters didn't dominate would be proven wrong!

True, one extra. Though I think there's been past BB's with more women than men which still ended up male dominated (BB8 for instance)”

That's just stereotyping. If women voted a lot more than men and only voted for fit lads, then it wouldn't explain the victories of quite a few winners.

What is interesting is why some people are so determined to attribute shallow voting to women and not to men (well, not very, but you know what I mean).
