What a pathetic attempt to discredit Lauren OP.

They are in there because they ARE celebrities, not because YOU have decided they aren't celebrities.

Got that?

Having read the dictionary definition of celebrity then every housemate qualifies, some are more famous than others of course but none the less are all celebrities.

I also don't think you can compare Lauren with the man with the glasses as he is just a member of the audience (who needs to get a life) and I guess unpaid, whereas Lauren was an invited guest on the BBBOTS and probably paid.

Like a poster above it seems you don't like her which is really the reason you don't think she should win, just be honest!”

I'm getting really fed up now with hearing Lauren fans saying you don't want her to win cause you don't like her
For many of us who have a problem with Lauren winning is the fact is

1. She isn't stable enough physically and mentally to be in there if she can't cope with out contact from the outside world

2 the favouritism she has clearly had from cbb ironically thou think they've done more damadge than good

I have nothing against Lauren I find her dilusions of grandure quite endearing and at times she has amused me so stop telling me I don't like her it aint true ....

I think they use a pretty fluid definition of 'celebrity' when picking CBB hms nowadays. I don't watch scripted reality so had never heard of Mario, Charlotte, Danielle or Courtney. The rest including Lauren were known to me.

I don't have a problem with Lauren winning CBB as she's been around on TV since she was a child.

Personally I couldn't care less about the label. Some of the ones I've never heard of have been the most interesting.”

couldn't have put it better myself

She's as much a celebrity as someone from TOWIE or an X Factor reject that get put on celebrity versions.

In the BB world, "Glasses Man" from BBBots is probably more of a valid celebrity than Lauren. Will he be in the next CBB?”

Given that you felt she had a chance of winning suggests you aren't aware of how this was all going to go from day one, so your views of celebrities and their relative merit is equally lacklustre.

I'd think her more celeb than some previous contestants, like whoever's wife who had an affair with her brother in law, someone else's ex girlfriend, they don't have to have done much to get on CBB now and at least Lauren is known for herself, not her relationship with someone else. So by their current standards I'd say she qualifies

By your definition Charlotte isn't a celebrity either.

Lauren and Vicky were the only two that I had heard of when it started.

y prob is isnt the celeb status but the fact she previously failed numerous psych texts to get in

she sholdnt be in there and winning will only encourage her

she already said its going to be so good for me when i get out

I knew who Lauren was, but I never heard of Mario, as I never watched the program he was in, so to me Lauren was more famous then him.

She actually said that she'd never been asked to take one.

Given that BB is notorious for its non-existent after-care, it's highly unlikely they have proper evaluation. How did Shabbaz ever get in, for instance?

They probably invite someone like Judy James to run an eye over some film of the audtion tests and group games, and that's it.

What will she destroy?

Lauren (and 'Screech' if that counts) was the only person I had heard of in this CBB.

She hasn't had any 'contact with the outside world' unless you are still harping on about the fact that she was told that her parents were ok, (which would be ridiculous) so that gets rid of 1. And she has barely had anything you could call favouritism except the Cult of Celebrity, which two other housemates got as well; she did not benefit at all from the prisoners task, which did not lead to immunity or any such thing. She has been shown a good deal less than Carol has.

Lauren is more of a celebrity than Chantelle was !!!

And look at Alex Reid - he was basically 'Jordan's boyfriend' when he went on CBB. Nobody expected to like him and yet they did.

For me, once someone is on the show it is NOTHING to do with who they are on the outside - otherwise what is the point of watching all these hours of dubious tv, if not to decide who you like most from their behaviour in the house ???????
