Love? I wouldn't say I loved him, but I did like him, until I realised he was playing a game, not being himself..
Playing a game and being yourself are not mutually exclusive. Plus, everyone who goes in there realises it is a game. Everyone is using whatever tactics they have at their disposal.

He did and has interacted with HMs. He's not stated he can't be bothered with the human race, he says he he's wary because he finds it hard to trust people because he has been screwed over by those he trusted in the past.

What is hard to get?

war·y
/ˈwe(ə)rē/
Adjective
Feeling or showing caution about possible dangers or problems: "dogs are often wary of strangers".

He isn't the first person to build a wall to protect himself.
Yes, people seem to get the words "weary" and "wary" confused. (including Abz it seems)
Weary means you are tired of something. Wary means you are apprehensive about something

Please don't be so rude I am fully aware of the English Language. He actually said he was "weary" of the human race or people or whatever. Why put himself in a situation where people are all he has ? I don't dislike the man either.. I will NOT insult you with the meaning of the word weary!

He has said himself in that clip that he has a fiery side.So he has hidden away to avoid showing it? That is not what this show is about, surely? Lets have a house full of people hiding away from what is essentially themselves. That is my point. I know he has an illness but that is NOT what he is talking about.

Why do you suppose so many people love him?
People can love who they choose to love. I can also express my opinion.

Everybody has a whole range of emotions that they keep hidden. Do you let all your emotions out on a daily basis? It would be inappropriate, surely. Civilised people act appropriately according to the circumstances - and although some people enjoy watching housemates who let it all hang out and revert to uncontrolled behaviour, I think we could move forward to an era in BB where people do retain an iota of self-control. I personally am all for it.

No he really didn't. He said that he was wary of people and took a long time to get close to them. He explained it at quite some length.

Why go into the house ? I can only assume it's for the money.
He was renting a farm with his girlfriend but the landlord didn't like that the place was filmed for a few different shows and made them move out, so now he's living with his girlfriends aunt in Cardiff. He's probably focused on acquiring another farm.

It's best to take your time getting to know people anyway.

He is, they all are in the game show BB

They are all playing a game.

It's not a crime, it's not to be jeered or scorned or derided. Neither does it need to be denied.

They are game players, how they play is up to them. I think he has played by keeping his own counsel when he realised there wasn't anyone in there for him to be friends with. He must be bored and lonely but it a job he has taken and he is doing it to the end. When he is out I am sure he will be relived, honour his commitments to the show and go home with his partner and his cheque.

Nowt wrong with that.
Spot on.

You're right - wary, not weary.

No he didn't, he said he was just weary of people he has been taken advantage of and people see him as an opportunity etc etc.The tile of the video is also weary not wary.I listened to his lengthy explanation.

Yes, that's what he said. And in context, it makes sense. He was talking about being tired of people who take advantage.

He may well be wary too but weary is what he said @ 00:40.

I'm pretty sure weary is yet another typo by the semi-literate people who type up this stuff. Channel 5's reports are full of typos, I've noticed.

The title of the video on the Channel 5 site is "I'm wary of people.. I put up a resistance". Whoever put it on youtube transcribed it wrongly.

Well said. I have the same condition as Abz (Asperger's Syndrome), and although I'd dearly love to be able to interact with people as easily as most of the housemates do, that sort of thing is very tiring for me even with people whose company I enjoy. I think Abz doesn't mean that he dislikes humanity, rather that interacting is a strain and can be overwhelming. It's not a pleasant thing to live with, and I take my hat off to him for entering the house and getting this far.
I think it must have taken courage to go into the house. None of the HMs are/were aware that he has the condition. I am aware that he is being paid, as are all the Celebrities, but even so, took courage.

Well said. I think he found it difficult when there were a lot of people in the house but is feeling it easier to cope now it's a bit quieter. It must have been quite a challenge for him. Yes I'm sure he's doing it for the money but so are they all, they are just less honest about it.

I respect him for going in there when it's difficult to do when you are shy/introvert in new crowds

Probably the type who only those in his circle see his true personality as he is comfortable around them

I agree. One of his fears from what he said on this is his temper.

Maybe but it sounds like weary to me and who can blame him if he has been exploited.
