Hello and welcome to the second live show of X-factor vs The Voice vs Pop Idol. last week`s show saw the top 12 singing for the first time. You voted and Aaron Bayley and Jahmene Douglas found themselves in the bottom 2. They sang for their lives but unfortunately one act had to leave, and that was Jahmene. Hoping they don`t end up out tonight, it`s your top 11!!!

Jackamakka and The Male Over 25s
Jamie Archer
Matt Henry
Aaron Bayley

Wong_Billabong and The Boys
Mike Ward
Will Young

Fireemblemcraze and The Female Over 25s
Maria Lawson
Alys Williams
Hayley Evetts

Soppyfan (Filling in for The1Kuda) and The Girls
Misha B
Leah McFall
Michelle McManus

So as I revealed, tonight 2 acts will be leaving us so your votes count even more. So judges before we begin, are you here?

I am here from The Voice Factor (which I hope you lot will send in votes to me).

Yes, I'm filling in for Kuda and you're gonna enjoy the songs I've picked for the girls.

Alys Williams

Alys, what a lovely start to the show. Last week, I was a viewer who was blown away and tonight, I felt that it was a very good choice, even though it wasn't quite as strong as it was before. But that said, it was really enjoyable and you have so much more to give and I wanna see how far you go. Well done Alys.

Alys:

Oh my god – honey that was stunning! What a way to open the show!! That suited your beautiful thick tone perfectly. The difficulty with you Alys is finding songs which suit your wonderfully unique tone and I think we succeeded in finding that! And with the direction we're going for - it's hard to find upbeat songs. So I think we coped well this week. And those high notes you went for – exactly like how you did them in your Mumford & Sons performance on the actual show itself! Such a wonderful song too! I love you Alys and I hope the public love you too! Vote for Alys people – I’ve got some incredible songs lined up for this wonderful woman!

Alys, I love your voice and that song choice worked really well for you tonight. I kind of feel like we could have seen something a little more upbeat, but what you delivered was certainly of high calibre and I really don't think you'll have any problems tonight. Good job!

WOW! Jamie, you Mr Rockstar, can you hear the audience right now?! First of all, I commend any mentor who isn't afraid to go nostalgia because I LOVE those kind of songs so much. Jamie, you just came on the stage and you absolutely SMASHED that rock song to pieces! What a stunning performance from you mate, I cannot wait to see what you can do next week!

Jamie:

Ooooh I like this – very nice Jacka! Much much much better than last week’s very obvious choice. This tone suits Jamie perfectly too. The only comment I would make is that this does seem a bit dated and generic – if anything Jacka try to find more current rock material – there’s a lot out there. But seriously Jamie – hands down much better than before honey!

Pingu, it's Ultra Nate, not Rate.

Michelle McNanus!

Wooo, Michelle! Who knew that a girl like you could sing and dance well? I will be honest, I don't know you much and it's been ages since I heard of you. But that's why it's my aim to try stuff out and explore your main strengths. For this theme, I wanted to give you a challenge and you definitely rose to the occasion with this club classic. I hope we get to carry on the journey.

Michelle:

I think this was a good song choice as you should really be performing this genre of music in this style. But I just didn't feel the vocals matched. I think this vocal is too thick for you...you've got a much softer vocal...I dunno maybe it's just me. And the song itself I didn't really like either but I suppose I still preferred it to last week.

Aaron, as one of those comments on YT say, I have also heard a lot of covers of this song when this was released, but yes, I really preferred this one. It was an improvement from last week, even though I do think that you're a middle-of-the-road act right now, but hopefully you can prove me wrong in the shows to come. A little calm to what we've seen so far, but for now, well done on tonight.

Hmmm…in one way I really enjoyed this. The song I have to say was lovely. Jacka has really stepped it up this week and it’s really showing. But I’m just not so sure about the vocal and I didn’t think for an acoustic performance it showed off enough of that incredible range you have, it also seemed a bit weaker than that really strong vocal you have (the guitar did eat you up slightly). Also I would have liked something slightly more upbeat...But tbh that was one passionate performance - the passion you put into it was incredible! And on that basis I'd say overall I liked it.

Sorry guys,

Jamie Archer
Jamie, that was a great performance from you tonight. Your rock style really shine through and I think you've really shown some improvement tonight. I hope you have a good night tonight and I hope you'll be back again next time. Good job!

Michelle McManus
Michelle, I'll be honest and say I wasn't a big fan of that performance. I generally love your voice but I don't really like this performance from you but I hope you can bring it back next time around.

Aaron Bayley
Aaron, in short. I love the song, I love your voice and I really hope you stay out of te bottom two tonight because that was an amazing performance. Well done!

Leah McFall

Leah, I think many of us were relieved that you got another chance to redeem yourself. Finding a song for you was very hard but we went for a song that may not be totally dance, but it's still an upbeat song as the feel and the speed of the notes justify the claim! It was a million times better and I feel proud to have you on a more positive outlook for this competition. Terrific job, babe!

Mike Ward

Mike, I liked you last week, but this week, I REALLY like you! George definitely gets you as an artist and he sure knows what he's doing with you. It was certainly a great choice and it allowed you to be up-tempo and I think you should do it more often. My surprise of the night so far tonight, well done Mike.

Leah

Ok Leah – incredible performance! I felt the emotion! The wow ‘Leah’ factor was present throughout it! That crazy range! AND it did sound like Leah McFall. OMG! I’m such a Leah fangirl and that definitely brought out my fangirl side. The only thing I would like to say this isn’t anything bad even because I did enjoy your performance but I do want to hear the whistle register – that wonderful quirky style of yours shine through and what made me fangirl all over the place in the first place (but I can understand how hard it must be to find a song like that!). I don’t think the range in the song did justice to what you can do but in terms of Leah Mcfall style and tone – this was a great choice.

Mike

Mr Ward! You yummy tiger! This was again wonderful and sexy – ok what is with everyone today?! I love the little bit of rock in it too! Country rock is definitely an interesting direction for you – great stuff George! Loved it! My surprise too!

Leah, you have an absolutely amazing voice. I really loved this song, however I'm not sure how upbeat it really is? Nevertheless, great voice, great performance and I really do think you're a contender in this competition. Well done and good luck in the vote!

Mike Ward
Mike, I really like your voice and I have to say I really did love this performance from you! Great work on both your part and your mentor's. Well done tonight Mike, and I look forward to seeing what to bring next week!
