Yes, especially when Billy uses it. It's as if the Mitchells are some sort of supreme human race that can defeat anything, it should become a memes 'Crack addiction lasted a week.. because I'm a Mitchell'

Can apply to anything that has happened to Phil in the last 20 years

"Got shot. Survived. Cos I'm a Mitchell"
"Thrown in the Arches pit, twice. Survived. Cos I'm a Mitchell"
"Slept with my aunt. Cos we're Mitchells"

It sounded even more cringy when Ronnie said it because she has such a nice womanly voice "Because im a Mitchell".

It's the nose flaring and heavy breathing that gets me!

But the Ewings were super successful, famous, billionaires, who ran a prestigious oil company. JR had a different woman every week and Bobby was juggling Victoria Principal and Priscilla Presley. Generally, it was pretty good to be a Ewing.

The Mitchells, on the other hand, run a few tuppenny ha'penny businesses in a dump in the East End, headed by a guy who looks like this - - and whose only female admirer is Shirley Carter.. Not much of a comparison really, is it?

I agree with Priscilla, it makes me cringe when I hear Billy say it. Poor Billy, the runt of the litter and only considered a Mitchell when there's a crap job to do......and sometimes, not even then.

Every time I hear it, I just think of the song "Remember You're a Womble!"

It's a ridiculous phrase. As if a name somehow defines a person's character. That's about as credible as believing a star sign defines a person's character. (And anyone with even half a brain should understand that Astrology is nonsense.)
