if its so easy for you to assume shes dead then its not going to be a shock to you. if shes alive it will be. they wouldnt make it this obvious shes dead. who exactly onscreen is going to find a body? carl isnt going to tell anyone

Why is it too obvious? What would have even more obvious was if Shirley had talked her way out of it!
Carl said he would deal with her his way, well as we have seen, Carl's "way" involves trying to kill people! ![]() |

I think Carl will tell Phil during one of her spats that he kill Shirley. Thus giving Phil motivation to go after Carl for vengeance.

the fact that he has assumed shirley is dead. they dont want it that obvious that people have assumed and wont be bothered when he turns out they were right. theyve made it too obvious with the bin bags etc

but this way, no one actually knows 100% if she has gone or is dead, still think she must be, just because I can't otherwise explain how she would get Carl to let her go, then throw away her phone, jacket and pic of Heather before leaving! If she somehow did persuade him to let her go by saying she would vanish and he would never see her again, what would happen if she came back? He would definately do her in next time. |

I was being deadly serious.
If you derive pleasure from seeing another Human being (or any living being for that matter) getting brutalized/tortured when they haven't really done much, then I worry for you. |

some people suggested he raped her - im not sure if they would do that. but i just dont see what else he wouldve done in the garage that she couldnt have stopped. he wasnt even facing her - she wouldve kicked him when he closed the door easily, shes smart - she wouldve seen if he was doing anything with an object. he didnt have anything on him
actually i think he wouldve been acting nice and got her from behind, im not sure he wouldve used an object if she could see Once that door was shut he could do anything, it had to be quick as she would have fought back, trying to think if he complained about any pains in the next episode which would mean her fighting back, but no one heard any screams... Hmmm. |

Thing is, why would he shut the door if they just talk! It has to be something he didn't want people to see, can't think rape just because that really doesn't seem Carls style and then she would have left and run to the Vic or something to report him, so if he did that then he definately would have killed her.
Once that door was shut he could do anything, it had to be quick as she would have fought back, trying to think if he complained about any pains in the next episode which would mean her fighting back, but no one heard any screams... Hmmm. no he was still injured from the crash so its hard to tell |

The only time I've felt anything like you is when I watched The Devil's Rejects and the villains got their comuppance from Sherrif Wydell, and believe me, they WERE deserving.

Having said that, you are also confusing me with someone who cares in the slightest what you think or who you worry for. |

I think you are confusing real life and soap stories, real violence with pretend violence.. You are also confusing the real person that I am with a ficticious persona that I often employ on this forum for humour purposes.

Whether you care what I think or not, I can still debate, which is what we all do on DS.
I've seen it plenty. Back to Shirley, I can only reiterate that she deserves everything she gets. A horrible, bitter two bit lush. |

I thought it would be obvious to people that Shirleys not dead. The way it's been set up is to make us think that she is, however they would have made more out of the storyline if she had been murdered.
