I loved Carol's outfit! And the red and black dresses too, but tonight's most of all. And the boots!! It made her figure look amazing too

She's a very stylish woman. Dresses well but there's no vanity. Loved the fact that she was confident enough to go without make up ....looked all the more special tonight.

I have to say that I am no fan of Carols but I usually think that she does have quite good taste in clothes but I also have to say and agree with you that this is quite old fashioned looking with it being crushed velvet, the puckered up bit in the back of the skirt as well made it look like a outfit that Julie Andrews would wear, you are spot on! Plus it does look like it has been made from my nanas velvet curtains too! Really quite awful!
Didn't like it. The length was wrong for the boots and had the effect of making her legs look short.
