Abz and Lauren would have been my top two, but Lauren did not get the vote. At the end of the day, the public has decided for Abz and Charlotte to be the top two finalists. The result doesn't always go the way you want it to. Lauren being third is not the end of the world anyway. Third place is respectable.

Not really.... sloppy and lazy use of English needs correcting. Particularly that particular one....
Third place is a perfectly respectable result with Lauren's history and the fact that whether people thought she was real or fake that history made her character dubious.
She might have done better had BB not tried to force her down everyones throats and given her preferential treatment. She lost a lot of support as a consequence.

One of my pet hates too. However, agree with the person who said about the losing battle. It amazes me that people commonly say of in place of have and think you are the one who is wrong.
Have to say, my main bug bear is skedule (American) instead of shedule (British) pronunciation for schedule.

I'm a professional translator and proofreader, and it doesn't bother me at all in the context of a forum.
