It's a very exciting storyline for Shirley

I have a feeling this is a rehash of the Denise/Lucas storyline. She's probably locked up in a warehouse somewhere.

the only similarity it has is that they could be both tied up, denise didnt have a leaving party and she wasnt turned good after doing bad things. also more people were worried about her

If he really killed Shirley, it wouldn't make sense leaving her belongings and phone on the street where anyone could see them and pick them up.

I reckon he beat her up badly or threatened to find and hurt her kids and grandkids (which he probably knows about because they've been living together in the B&B for months) so she fled the square and will come back when she's strong enough

On the slim chance he did kill her I hope they filmed it and will show it as a flashback. Shirley deserves a better final scene.

I like the idea of a flashback. It'd be good, proper exit scene for Shirley and it might cement Carl's reputation as a formidable villain.

Ill be so annoyed if her exit is just a plot device. She deserves an exit of her own

You're bumping a lot of Shirley threads lately, aren't you Mona. Personally, I think she's being held hostage or she's tied up somewhere. It'd be too obvious if she was dead, considering they actually said in the spoilers "Is Shirley dead?".

Shes in the pit at the Arches No, he probably took her somewhere and tied her up. I'm hoping it's at his brothers house but it'll probably be at some warehouse that Carl magically owns or has keys to.

It doesn't make sense that he'd tie her up because once she's free she'll goto the old bill and report him for kidnapping and attempted murder, plus tell Phil everything what happened. Unless Carl has the ability to erase Shirley's memory, killing her is the only way.
