I was so sick and tired of Ronnie
And was absolutely delighted to see the back of her when she was sent down but......she's a lot less annoying now she's back. In fact, she's been quite good so far.
Hopefully they've ditched this "tragic heroine" crap with her and can let her character move on. |

From Sam's interviews, Ronnie will change a lot and be much stronger now.

I like that Ronnie has returned strong, yet vulnerable.
They seemed to have struck the right balance with her. I really liked Ronnie between 2007-09. It was only in 2010 with the constant tragedy that I started to tire of her. Sam was right to call time on her character when she did and I do think she returned with the right mind set for her character. The writers too. |

Ronnies acting like she never left. Throwing her weight around, trying to take on Carl. She's just come out of prison. As if she would act like that!

She'd keep her head down and be quiet just that little bit longer. But if this is leading to a more 2007/8 Ronnie then her return will work very well I think. |

Great to see Ronnie back in her feisty way after having the courage to overcome some stifling obstacles, it's what all of those liked about her in the first place and still like about her - as well as her vulnerable side too no less! Let's hope six months down the line that she has a happy send off too, as well as an improved time in the Square between now and then.....

She's done nothing wrong at all. I don't understand the criticism.

Her return has certainly put some life back in the show and has affected many characters so it seems it was the right decision.

Dreadful Character and Actress. Hasn't improved viewing figures, employing her back was / is a waste of the licence fee.

So because YOU don't like her it must mean it's a waste of the licence fee, and that licence fee thing has been done to death on here. |

I think they mean when Kat was telling her she has to go now and Ronnie was refusing until she'd seen Roxy. I think she seems a bit lacking in remorse and in real life would be keeping a very low profile

A mentally disturbed child kidnapper. She should still be locked up in Holloway.

Kirkwood ruined Ronnie's character and put more effort in re-entering Kat and Alfie despite viewers following Ronnie's story 3 years prior to the baby swap. People were ready for a happy Ronnie but Kirkwood piled on more tragedy killing her baby.
'm glad Sam quit when she did because Ronnie had nowhere else to go. Now its a fresh start and a clear plan. If this is Ronnie's last stint on the show Sam wanted her to have a happier ending and not rotting in jail because of a storyline that destroyed her character. |

Ronnie's return shows everything that is wrong with EE
- Totally unrealistic - No storyline. Showing the difficulty of rebuilding your life after a stint in prison for committing a crime against a child. The kind of crime society is the less forgiving about. It could have been an interesting and gritty storyline. But once again EE are missing an opportunity and show their inability to write proper storyline with a bit of substance and with social realism. So instead of being a storyline, Ronnie's return is actually nothing but the Ronnie Mitchell queen of the square show - apparently written to please her fans in a desperate hope it would boost the ratings. Well it failed. |

There is a poll on the soap section, I think many people would disagree with you, going by that poll.
